Kiyotaka Ayanokouji stood by the window of their spacious apartment, gazing out at the bustling city below. It was a city that had seen its fair share of changes over the years, much like his own life. He sighed softly, a small smile playing on his lips as he felt a familiar presence approach from behind.

"Lost in thought again?" Suzune Ayanokouji 's voice was warm as she wrapped her arms around him, resting her chin on his shoulder.

Kiyotaka turned his head slightly, his lips brushing her forehead. "Just reminiscing."

Suzune leaned into his embrace, her gaze fixed on the city. "About what?"

"About how much has changed since our days at Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School," he replied, his voice tinged with nostalgia.

Suzune chuckled softly. "Indeed. Who would have thought we'd end up here, married and sharing an apartment in the heart of the city?"

Kiyotaka's arm tightened around her waist as he continued to gaze out at the cityscape. "Life has a way of surprising us, doesn't it? Back then, we were students navigating the complexities of the school. Now, we're adults navigating the complexities of life itself."

Suzune's fingers traced absent patterns on his chest, her touch soothing. "And through it all, we've remained a constant in each other's lives."

He turned his head to press a soft kiss against her temple. "More than a constant. You've been my anchor, Suzune."

Suzune's eyes met his, a mixture of emotions swirling within them. "And you've been mine."

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, golden glow over the surroundings. It had been several years since their days at Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School, and they found themselves lost in quiet reflection.

"Do you ever think about our time in high school?" Suzune's voice was soft, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between them.

Kiyotaka glanced at her, a gentle smile curving his lips. "All the time. Those days were formative for both of us."

Suzune's gaze was distant, as if she were gazing back into the past. "Back then, I was so focused on being the perfect student, on achieving top ranks. I never realized how much I was missing out on."

Kiyotaka's fingers brushed against hers, a reassuring touch. "And I was often content to stay on the periphery, observing from a distance. But somehow, we found each other."

Suzune's lips quirked into a smile. "You were the one who helped me see beyond my tunnel vision. You challenged me in ways no one else did."

Kiyotaka's gaze, once lifeless and dead, now held a mixture of warmth and admiration. "And you taught me the importance of connecting with others, of embracing emotions."

As the memories of their high school days unfolded, they recalled the friendships they had forged—each friend unique and instrumental in shaping their experiences. The group they had been a part of, with Kikyo Kushida, Ike, Kei and others, had been an unexpected source of camaraderie.
