Bellatrix came walking into the library looking for her wife. The girls had just gone back to school two days prior and she had already got a surprising letter from Minnie after her first day of classes. "Pet?" She had been looking around the house and couldn't find her.
"I'm upstairs," she called from the second floor balcony of the library. "Outside."
Bella climbed the stairs and stopped just inside the door. Her wife was lounging on a chair with her feet tucked underneath her reading with a glass of elvish wine next to her, "enjoying ourselves are we?" She let out a low chuckle, walking over to sit down next to Hermione.
"Listen to that," Hermione put her bookmark in saving her spot, "silence. It hasn't been this quiet here since before Andy and Teddy moved in."
"Andy is just at work. Her loud ass mouth will be home soon enough."
Hermione smiled, "precisely why it's reading and wine time now. Join me?"
Bella conjured the book she had kept inside of her bedside table and stole a sip from Hermione's glass, "of course." Yes, she definitely could get used to the quiet around the Manor. Still she missed her girls. They had both taken a few days off from work to say goodbye to the girls but also so they could reconnect because it had been quite some time since they had an empty house. There had been plenty of sex over the past two days and the dark witch was pleasantly sore from their activities but nowhere near satiated.
"You were looking for me... was it anything important?"
That question pulled her from her internal sexy thoughts. "Oh!" Bella instantly remembered and produced the letter she had in her pocket. "Minnie owled us already. Did you know about any of this?"
Hermione grabbed the letter and read the contents out loud, "my dear mothers." She rolled her eyes, "cheeky little shit. She gets that from you."
"Oh no. That's all you. Continue."
"Today was absolutely dreadful. The sorting ceremony and everything was fine last night. Slytherin as we expected. I was so looking forward to the first day of class and had even prepared my excuse for how to get out of flying instruction. When we walked onto the training field, madam Hooch was nowhere in sight. The Headmistress was standing there with a red headed woman. She introduced her as Professor Weasley and said she was the new flying instructor but was late due to whatever contract ended yesterday. I really didn't care about all of that until McGonagall walked away and that woman told us she would be accepting no excuses and everybody had to participate in flying. Rather rude if you ask me. So I asked her if she knew who my mothers were. She said she was close personal friends with the Minister and only slightly scared of mummy. She made me fly for the whole class. Mummy can you please write me an excuse? That class is absolutely dreadful. All my love, Minerva Katherine Black."
"She got her love of flying from you, pet. Nothing Black about that except maybe the blatant manipulation and disregard for the rules. I wonder if I could write her an excuse," Bella began to think of the ways she could threaten Red.
"You will do nothing of the sort. If I had to suffer through flying lessons then so will Minnie," she laughed.
"Did you know Red was coming to teach?"
"No idea. I can't believe she didn't tell me. Maybe it was a last minute thing or she was being held under a NDA with the league and she couldn't mention her retirement. In either case, I bet Cass is especially happy with the change."
"Are you kidding? I know she's thrilled. She was so mad at Hooch last year for not letting her play more than that one game. With her skills and charm, she'll have Red exactly where she wants her."
