Sigils are symbols created to serve a specific purpose. Modernly sigils are apart of chaos magick where a person will creat a symbol for a speciffic intention. King solomon used sigils to call upon demons. They where used as the demons pictorial names and where thought to help conjour and control demons. John dee also created a powerful symbol which was thought to help you conjoir angels and contol them.
