"Flight 2579 will be landing in Cincinnati Ohio please stay in your seats as we land"

I took my earbuds out of my ears just as that was heard over the intercom so I put my stuff away and put my seatbelt on looking out the window seeing the city below us.

I never thought I would be back in this city. Especially since you know here is here. But one of my best friends is getting married so of course I have to be here.

I should probably introduce myself. Hi I am Sydney Valley and I am originally from Baton Rouge Louisiana. I attended LSU for both my undergrad and grad school. I have a masters in Early Childhood Education and I am a kindergarten teacher and I absolutely love what I do.

My best friend, Delaney, was marrying her college sweetheart who happens to be Ja'Marr Chase. I had literally watched their relationship build from the ground up.

From when they were awkward around each other because they like each other and didn't want the other to know, to when he asked her to be his girlfriend, to when Ja'Marr picked the ring, yes he called me when he picked it, to him proposing, to them now planning the wedding.

So when Delaney had asked me to be her Maid of Honor, I said of course without hesitation, hence why I am coming to Ohio right now. The plane had just landed and I was out looking for her when I see her and Ja'Marr standing there with a sign saying "Miss Sydney Valley" making me smile.

I quickly walk up as she runs up and hugs me. I hug her back just as tightly "Oh my god I have missed you so much!" she says making me smile and pull away "I have miss you way more!" I say as Ja'Marr comes up "Hey girl" he says making me laugh and hug him "Hey Marr!" I say.

We soon all pull away and walk to their car. Ja'Marr let's me sit in the front with Delaney so we can catch up "Oh my god so how's teaching going?" she asks and I smile "It's going so well, there's actually something I need to tell you about that" I say. They both look at me confused "You're not changing your career are you?" she asks.

I shake my head "Oh god no, I went through too much schooling to do that" I say laughing as they both let out a sigh of relief "No, I had been looking at schools here in Cincinnati and found one I loved getting an interview and they accepted me" I say.

They both gasp "No way!" Delaney says and I smile nodding "Yes way!" I say and we all cheer. Ja'Marr smiles "That's so exciting! I can't wait to see you be a teacher here!" he says. Delaney nods "That means we can go out more once you're here!" she says.

-Later on-

Me and Delaney were in the kitchen talking about the wedding "Oh um I have to warn you about something?" she says making me look at her confused "What's up?" I ask and she takes a sip of her wine, almost chugging it, before saying "Um the best man is Joe" she says. I just look at her.

Of course he would be the Best Man. I mean both him and Ja'Marr are best friends so why wouldn't he be. It just never occurred to me that would mean not only are we not the Best Man and Maid of Honor, that we have to walk together.

As much as this makes me uncomfortable I just smile at her "Delaney, this day is going to be all about you" I say taking her hands into mine.

I smile "I don't care if he's the best man ok?" I say and she smiles "This is why you're my best friend" she says hugging me "I also have to warn you um..." she starts but then we hear a bunch of voices come into the house. However one stands out.

It's his voice. I can pick it out of any room. The voice that first said hello to me, the voice that I would call on the phone and just love hearing, the voice I would listen to during his press conferences when in college. The voice that he used to wiggle another girl into his bed.

They all walk in and my eyes immediately goes to him. It feels like my breath is caught in my throat. He looks really good. Who am I kidding? He's always looked this good. His blue eyes sparkling as the light hits it or when he smiles. Those same blue eyes eventually land on me and I can see his smile turn into a shocked look.

A/N: Ok this one is a bit shorter! But that's so that the next chapter will have dramaaaa!

We got to meet Sydney! I love her! She is going to be perfect in this story! I cant wait to continue to write it!
