Sitting here, side gaze
Spoken words, false hopes- lead astray
Tele broke- busted in his storm,
hide it- the unkept flame
Discord in voice text, pity me
World on my shoulders
Chosen, "I got it, little baby"
Stretched, torn open- not just your boulder
Toys, books, clothes
Diapers, baby food, then pulls ups
Food to cook on stove
Bare necessities- bar low
Battle worse, oh, so worse
How could I know?
Lullaby, spoon on floor, ride-a-horse
Go to sleep, on my own
Wearing many hats
Mama, sister, friend, auntie
Queen of who? Where's that?
Oh, yeah- your dreams. Fast asleep.
Open shut, smoke drifting out
Tried glass, tried paper, water, brick house
Blasting, fire raging, gone away
Like burnt matter in the unkept flame

PoetryPeople say "don't just exist, live" I say if you must just exist today to get to the next, you will live. So exist and feel the existence around you until you can live, fully.
