3-𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄

The gun was being held at my neck, whilst I looked down at X. Who was calm.
"Y/n whatever you do don't shoot, okay. " He said. I nodded petrified, what if they will kill me. I was being held at gunpoint but by who?

The gunshots wouldn't stop and people's blood covered the floor, however some shot back prepared to continue fighting on.
"X do you have a weapon? " I whispered.
"Yes I do."he answered.
" okay I'm going to injure this person, shoot after okay." I said confidentally.

At that moment, I turned around and floored the person who held me at gunpoint. Taking a look at them I knew exactly who they were. My ex's bodyguard.

Exactly at that point X shot him in the head.
"How is your aim so precise" I asked walking away from the scene. "Training" He answered.

Making my way out of the room, the gunshots ended and everyone made their way to the ballroom.

 It was a wonderful room. The crimson curtains draped over the large French windows and tiered crystal chandeliers glistened in the soft light. Everyone had a masquerade mask on from the waiters to the orchestra.

The sea of tuxedos blinded me from finding the table I was assigned too. Making my way towards it, I accidentally bumped into a female with pink hair. Her dress was beautiful, she looked just like a mermaid.
"I'm soo sorry" I said to the lady.
"Y/n is that really you?" She asked.
"Yeahh it is" I chuckled.
"It's me Kokomi from college do you remember me?" She said smiling.

I was shocked my best friend from college was right in front of me. I hadn't been able to contact her for over 5 years. I instantly hugged her. "Kokomi... I'm so sorry for not contacting you, it's just you know my ex he.." Before I could finish my sentence, she pulled away from the hug holding my hands. "You don't owe me an apology I knew it was him who restricted all your contact. When Raiden told me you were here I was excited." She told me.

She was always like this, so forgiving and protective of me I truly missed her. "Thank you" I told her.

After our conversation we managed to find our table and we took a seat and spoke for more hours, reminiscing about the past.
"Y/n he's here." Kokomi told me.
"Who?" I asked.
"Your ex Lorenzo."

My heart became heavy, and my body trembled with fear. I watched as he came closer and closer to our table, his hazel eyes connecting with mine. In a blink of an eye there he stood right in front of me.

"Y/n may I talk to you?" He asked. How could he have the audacity to ask me that, he who ruined my life and wasted five years  of it. Kokomi seemed to have the same exact thought as me when she replied hastily.
"Why would she talk to the likes of you? " she asked him, her expression stern.
"We have a history, stay out of it Kokomi." He told her.
"It's fine I'll go talk to Lorenzo I'll be back okay." I told Kokomi giving her a reassuring smile.

After leaving the ballroom with Lorenzo, he took me outside of the exquisite building to the gardens. The moon shone in the sky leaving a glow on the surrounding flowers. I stared right in his eyes, anger radiating from me.

"What do you want?" I asked.
"Y/n...don't talk to me like that we used to be a thing you know. " he said smirking.
"You ruined my life and you expect me to have the same amount of respect for you?" I asked.

It was true he did ruin my life, his selfishness and way of manipulating me, ruined the relationships I held dearest in this world.

"Y/n if it wasn't for me you would be nothing right now, you see if you never caught me cheating that night, we still wouldve been engaged and you still would've been my doll." Lorenzo voiced.
His words hurt. He only saw me as his doll how ridiculous.
