Chapter 11. The Heist.

Y/N P.O.V

Finally. Blade is back on the show. Today is the day V, Jackie and I will rob that cassino for what it's worth. It's also going to be a stealth mission which makes it far more interesting. I open my eyes, seeing my apartment's ceiling. Besides me was Lucy fully naked, peacefully sleeping next to me. Yesterday was a nice day...

I grabbed her arms and put them away then I got up and went to get ready for the day. The suit I had for the MiliTech is the only one I have. Problem is, it's a little filthy. Guess I'll have to buy a new one.

Finding new clothes for the day, I glanced at Lucy and smiled before leaving my apartment. I made sure to leave a message in her inbox explaining where I am.

Getting on my bike I started driving towards the same cloth shop I went to when I had the date with Lucy I started to think of the hallucinations. No matter how much I think of them I can't trigger them anymore. Feels nice to be free. I no longer will need the pills. No matter, let's think of the mission for the moment. And to find a good suit.

LUCY'S P.O.V

I woke up just to see Y/N is missing. Immediately after I realised it I recieved a message from him. He's buying clothes. Right, he has that contract with that "V" girl. He could've stayed for breakfast tho...

I got up, dressed up and was about to see the target list Kiwi and I have until suddenly I recieved a call from said girl.

Lucy:"Hey."

Kiwi:"We have a problem."

Lucy:"What."

Kiwi:"I've never disconected my stuff from Y/N's head, just to make sure no weird stuff appears on his head. You better start thanking me now. New files appeared."

Lucy:"So what? He perhaps made new memories or his attitude changed a little right?"

Kiwi:"No. These are... how to say it... uploads from a different creator. Someone's also connected to him."

Lucy:"What are the files?"

Kiwi:"No idea. I can't access them nor track the one who uploaded them. I've also how our Netrunner is trying to download his memories yet he can't."

Lucy:"What do we do?"

Kiwi:"I can help you with that... with a condition."

Lucy:"What."

Kiwi:"Well, you see..."

Y/N P.O.V

A copy of the suit I had. Pretty much the same one with the only difference being it doesn't have blood or dirt. And I don't have a clown mask either. As soon as I was ready I recieved a call from V.

V:"Hey choom. Ready for some easy cash?"

Y/N:"You sound pretty optimistic."

V:"We have it all under control. Come over, we are waiting at the casino."

I walked towards my bike and drived at the location. I remember where it is, everything I saw from the shard stays in my head.

V:"Your job is simple. Come with me and we will guide Jackie through the ventilation shaft until he reaches the vault."

Y/N:"I see."

V:"Once Jackie opens it, we will have to neutralize the guards inside. After that it will just be get the money and go."

Y/N:"If we fire a gun..."

V:"Don't worry while we guide Jackie we will take care of those things. It's not like he will arrive in 5 minutes. Specially considering his frame..."
