Save Me! (Boku no Hero- Love story)

Chapter 9

It was the day of the sports festival. Everyone had their costumes on and were nervously waiting until the time was to start heading into the arena. Todoroki was glancing at Midoriya before standing up and headed towards the green haired boy.

"Midoriya," Todoroki began. Izuku glanced to his classmate curiously.

"Hey Todoroki what's up?" he asked with a smile on his face, but he sure began to become nervous as Todoroki was not showing much emotion, not as if he did really to begin with.

"From an objective stand point I believe that makes me stronger than you. However, you got All Might in your corner helping you out. I am not here to pry what is happening between you two but know I will beat you," he stated not sparing a glance at anyone but at Midoriya. Izuku's eyes widened a fraction surprised at this conversation happening. He also was surprised how observant Todoroki was when he had been with All Might too. Sachiko stood up and stood beside her friend and gave a hard look to the half red- and white-haired boy in front of her.

"Hey what is the big deal all of a sudden. Why are you picking a fight?" Kirishima came out getting involved between the three of his class mates in the middle of the room. Todoroki gave him a side glance and did not show he cared.

"We are not here to make friends. Remember this is not a team effort. Also," Todoroki took a glance at Sachiko. "I also am here to fight the competition here and want you to know I will defeat you, Shigaraki. You may have been there to help Aizawa with the villains but doesn't mean I won't lose to someone like you." He finished. Blinking in surprise at being brought into this also and for it to come from the son of the second pro hero made her happy to think she needed to be watched, to have been noticed for her effort.

"Wait Todoroki. I do not know why you had to go around and tell me that you will beat me and are stronger than me but you probably have the most if not one of the most potential for this hero course. That is why you got in so easily. So, I am saying this, I am aiming for the top two as well," Midoriya smirked up at his peer. Todoroki did not let go of his harden look but nodded acknowledging what was said in front of him.

"Fine." Todoroki responded while having his arms crossed over his chest.

"Oh, and Todoroki one last thing before you prance away. Be careful who you talk to like that. It can kick you up the arse and more importantly kill you one day. Good luck," Sachiko could not help herself and let off a smart-ass comment towards the guy. This had made some of the class giggle and smirk, even had Todoroki give off a smirk as well.

"Well, I guess I got a lot to expect from you then."

It was the sports festival and everyone was surrounding Pro hero Mic and had Pro hero Midnight come out to announce the first round which ended up being an obstacle course. 'Great this will be fun,' Sachiko sighed not sure why an obstacle course was any fun to begin with. But soon everyone got to the start line and was waiting for the signal. 

As the signal was let off everyone raced into the door way to the outside of the arena to complete the 4 km course. Sachiko grabbed her fan and began running alongside Izuku as Iida, Uraraka and many of their peers raced in front of her up ahead with the other students from all different sections of UA. Before they knew it everyone was stuck and struggling to get through the entrance way. Sachiko groaned and tried pushing through and noticed Izuku was struggling through as well.

She huffed through and noticed the air became cold suddenly and realised this was coming from Todoroki. "Izuku grab my hand!" Sachiko shouted before letting her fan open and she jumped up, pulling her friend and made sure he held on as she commanded the wind to take her racing through the entrance way and to the outside. There she saw Todoroki racing off as he used his ice to freeze everyone else besides a few such as Bakugo, Yaoyorozu and more including them that managed to get through without being trapped. Bakugo enraged screamed at Todoroki before blasting after him.
