"First off, answer the following questions," he beamed. "Then we can proceed"

A light blue floating screen appeared out of thin air between me and him, igniting the semi-dark hallway. I look at the screen and read the questions. After a quick glance, I started getting more anxious. These were personal information questions. 

"Don't worry, we only need this information so that the study buddies can identify from what background are you and get to know how to address you" Cosmo added assuringly as if he could read my facial expression.

"OKaaayy". After what seemed like 5 minutes I had finally filled out the blanks.

"Good" He bubbled "Now I need you to choose a photo that people will see you by " he explained. "Or an avatar"

Huh, this robot does excel at making me stay, he would make a good marketing business man, he managed to not only convince me to stay but got as much information as he needed and I was getting tired and frustrated.

"I think I'll pass for that, I... I want to cancel my submission form. I want to get back to my room " 

"May I ask the reason why you want such a thing?" he tried innocently 

"Ugh..  I don't have a photo with me right now" I beg
"Oh.., that is why I'm suggesting you use an avatar, Studyuniverse obligates everyone to choose an avatar that people will see him by, and don't worry, options are not limited to personal photos, you can also find one on the internet and set it as your own. There are many options, see on the screen" He chuckled.

"Hmm... can I open Pinterest as an option? Also, hopefully, you get what I mean but... do many people here use cartoon characters as their profile picture?" I ask awkwardly.

"Ooo, well yeah sure you can open Pinterest and search for whatever photo you like and answer your second question. Approximately, 73.41% of people here use non-real photos as their avatar.

Woah.. so many insecure and awkward people out there huh. Cool, I am not the only one then.

I look back at the screen and now it shows:
'Choose your avatar on studyuniverse having in mind people are going to see it. Also, you can change it anytime later on

and in the center of the screen I see" +drag here" inside a small square.

and even below that, there are apps logos:

Google, Instagram, Snapchat, and a few others.
I find the Pinterest logo and I press it.
Somehow my account was already signed in to it.

"How could you have such access to my account despite not asking me about it?" I ask awkwardly.

"oh... Well, it automatically signs you in using the information provided by your device" he says innocently smiling.

"Huh.. "was all I managed to say before looking back at the screen.

It took me what felt like 10 min to finally decide on a fan art character of Marceline from the Time for Adventure cartoon series.

I downloaded the photo, saved it in my files, and, then dragged it to the square. I waited as the photo was successfully saved.

Then I found that my body was slowly transforming.
My short dark brown hair was replaced by a long black straight one, my olive skin turned to pale white my pajamas changed into a red hoody with black cargo pants, and my flip-flops were replaced with red Converse shoes.

"THIS IS AWESOME" I bellowed.

"Stand still" he orders and then proceeds to fly around me inspecting every detail then takes a few steps back. Blue scanning radiations came out of his eyes, slowly scanning me. Then after he seemed to be done he said: "Avatar criteria are met, Congratulations, you are all set"
