We're down to the last two weeks of our shooting for the film. Today is the final script reading before wrapping up the whole set. I cannot help it but to think what would happen next if the movie taping has ended?

Would Mingyu still be by my side?

Would he still like me?

Or would he go back to Korea for good?

Who knows?

"Miss Viki? It's your turn." the staff called me out.

Nabalik ako sa katinuan, I almost forgot na we're rehearsing for the ending of the movie.

"I'm sorry. Where were we?" I asked.

The head producer flipped her script. "Let's start again on Scene 43. With emotions, please."

I followed the lines they are reading para hindi na ako magkamali. I focused on the script.

"Would you mind if I invite you for a dance, Miss?" Mingyu asked. He also lend his hand.

Ito yung scene na magsasayaw kami sa isang grand ball. He's not my date in this scenario, but his character secretly likes my character so he left his date to ask me for a dance.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya, sana hindi niya maramdamang may panginginig nang konti.

"Should you be dancing with your girl, shouldn't you?"

"But, you're my girl." he said, almost a whisper.

I know, it's just a line of his character, and he just delivered it right based on the script, pero yung puso ko...

I saw Kim Mingyu smirked. He's enjoying it. Tss.

"You're line." bulong niya sa akin.

Binalik ko ang tingin sa hawak kong script. Where's my line?

"Uh, uhm..." pasimple kong binitawan ang kamay niya. Bakit nawawala yung line ko? What would I say after that, again?

The producer sighed. "Okay, let's have a 30-minute break."

And everybody left.

Oh, but not the guy beside me.

Naiwan kaming nakaupo sa harap ng conference table. What's with my attitude today? This is not Victoria Kang.

"Okay ka lang ba, Viki? Kanina ka pa matamlay eh." I felt a hand on my forehead. It was Mingyu, checking my temperature. "Wala ka namang lagnat. May masakit ba sayo?"

Napayuko nalang ako. I feel like a disappointment as of the moment. I know that the production wants to have a smooth meeting today so that they can work on another tasks as soon as possible. They're too busy but I ruined their schedule.

"Sorry." is all I can say.

Nag-angat ako ng paningin, and saw Mingyu's worried eyes.

He cupped my face. "Why? What happened? Pinagalitan ka ba ng manager mo kanina? Did someone upset you?"

I shook my head. Did I really deserve this guy? He's too good for me. I avoided him for days, I'm the one who made him upset. Bakit ang bait mo, Gyu? 'Yong puso ko...

"Mingyu?"

"Hmm?"

"Will you..." I trailed off my words. "Will you leave me after we finish the movie? 'Di ba, you're not just acting like you're in love with me? 'Di ba, it's true? You like me for real?"

Mingyu smiled at me. The warmest and prettiest smile of him. "I like you, a lot––no. I love you. So much. Kahit hindi mo ako masyadong pinapansin in the past few days hehe."

I smiled at him, he's still the best. "I'm sorry. Will you still wait for me?"

"Of course. Kahit gaano pa katagal." he assured me with a kiss on my forehead. It was indeed magical.

Ilang beses niya na akong nahalikan sa noo dahil sa film namin, but this one is undeniably heart-flattering. Iba pala talaga kapag totoo. I can feel his sincerity, his love.

This man. Hindi ko yata kayang patagalin pa 'to. I cannot bare to lose him.

"Would you mind if I tell you to stop waiting for me?" I asked him.

His brow frowned. His eyes became meek. Paiyak na yata. "Ayaw mo na ba sa akin? Kaya ba iniiwasan mo 'ko? Kaya ba nakipagdate ka kay Nate? May nagawa ba ako? Nagselos ka ba noong lumabas kami ni Airin last week? Sorry na, ikaw lang mahal ko. Promise, cross my heart."

I swear, ang hirap magpigil ng tawa sa harap ng tutang 'to. Bakit hindi niya nagets agad? I like him, too, and there's no way I'll let him go.

I already cleared things between Nate and I. But speaking of their "date", hanggang ngayon, hindi niya nalaman na nagselos talaga ako that time. I never told him though, I even avoided him for days. And I have dated Nate for closure without telling him. Nakakaguilty.

"No. I like you, you know that, right?" I saw him nodded. Napayuko ako. "It's just that, yeah, I was jealous. About you and Airin going out together. Pero hindi ako gumanti by going out with Nate, I just ended what's between us. I'm sorry if you happen to misunderstand."

Mingyu's face brightened, ang bilis magbago ng mood niya.

He ruffled my hair. "Okay lang. Naiintindihan ko na 'yong sa inyo ni Nate. Sorry, nagselos din ako no'ng nakita ko 'yong post niya. But I'm over it now. Don't worry. At okay lang din na magselos ka, besides, you have the rights."

This guy is really unbelievable.

Umiling ako. "Thank you for understanding, but I ain't your girlfriend to be jealous over someone you're with. Airin is your bestfriend, bakit kita pagbabawalan na makipagbonding sa kaniya, 'di ba?"

It's impossible to separate them from each other. Kilala na nila ang isa't-isa noon palang, ako nga lang yung sabit sa kwento nila eh. I know their past, halata naman sa mata ni Airin. It's also impossible for two opposite sex to stay friends for a very long time, without the other one falling in love.

And I know, I have done wrong too. Ayaw ko nang patagalin pa, baka mas masaktan ko siya. Siguro nga, naging mali 'yong mga naging move ko. Now, I will make it right.

Sumeryoso ang mukha ni Mingyu. "As much as I want to give you every rights, I want to keep waiting for you. Until you're ready."

Ito na siguro 'yon. It's not about how long we've known each other. It's about how deep and true our feelings for each other. I have to tell him now, or else I'll explode.

"Mingyu."

He did not respond but his eyes are anticipating.

"I told you, stop waiting." napansin ko ang pagbagsak ng balikat niya. "Kasi ready na ako."

His eyes brightened. "So is it a 'yes'?"

"Yes."
