Chapter 3

11:23am

Abi wakes up and feel a heavy set of arms on her waist . She carefully rolls over and know it's the guy from the bar last night but has no idea what his name is . She tries to slip out of bed without waking him , quickly failing as he rolled over onto his back .

"Good morning." He was still half asleep but trying to wake himself up . "Good morning . Sorry I didn't mean to wake you ."

"No, it's fine . I should get home anyways." Abi nods and start to pick up her clothes from the night before and put them in the hamper .

As he was slowly waking up and getting dressed , he looked over at Abi in her robe . "Do you have any roommates ? Just need to know what I'm walking past." They both let out a quiet laugh and Abi nods . "Yeah , 2 other girls . they're probably up but they won't give you a hard time.". He nods and Abi grabbed her phone and opened the girls group chat .

Abi watched him slip out of her room as she put on a fresh outfit . Abi gives him a minute , hearing the girls talk to him to get a name . Abi waits long enough that she wouldn't have to answer the question , but not too long to leave him to fend for himself .

Abi stroll out and stood beside him , going wide eyed at the sight in front of her . "I thought you said you had 2 girl roommates ?"

"I do . These are just my coworkers who are also the biggest moochers ." He turns to walk towards the door and Maddie and Bails both mouth "Alex" to her . She nods and follow after him. Once they reach the door , they face each other and smile . "I had a great time last night ." "So did I , we should do it again ." She whispered back knowing the group could hear them and were most definitely listening . Before she could stop him , he leaned in and kissed her . It was quick but long enough to make the butterflies in her stomach flutter .

He says his goodbyes and waves to everyone else . Once the door was shut , the group did not hesitate to erupt into cheers and hooting as Abi walked over to the couch to sit between Rudy and Chase .

"So you brought a guy home last night and didn't even bother to get his name ?" Maddie said as she shook her head with a smile . "He was cute . Are you going to see him again ?" Abi could feel her cheeks heating up but it was too late that everyone noticed . "I think that's a yes ." Chase spoke as he poked her red cheek . "I think he planned on it . He marked his territory a couple of times ." Rudy poked at the girls neck where she assumed hickeys were left . She rolled her eyes and smack both their hands away . "I hate all of you ." Abi crossed her arms as they laughed .

Everyone went back to talking and playing against each other in smash bros . Abi looked over at Drew , noticing he hadn't said a word to her . He looked over at her , seeing that she was already looking at him and she gave him a smile but he quickly turned his attention back to the tv . Abi weren't sure what that was about , she felt bad for not going back to him at the bar , but nothing would've ever happened between them . All she knew right know was , she was starving and that took priority .

"Do y'all want to order some food ?"

"Why don't we go get something and go to the beach?" Austin said while getting up .
