Chapter 4

Abi and Maddie walked through the front door and set their things down before crashing down on the couch next time Bails . "Hey you two . I was starting to think y'all were staying in Abi's trailer ." Abi groaned and rolled her eyes . "Of course you told Bails ." Abi look at both of them and they both look down at their hands . Abi sat up straighter and look at both of them . "You guys didn't .. you told the group chat ?!"

"In all fairness , we actually made a new group chat without you and Drew ." Abi scoff in disbelief at the girls . "Don't even start , Madelyn . You really told everyone you found me and Drew taking a nap together and let me guess .. Everyone is assuming we slept together ." Abi stared at them for a minute before looking down and running a hand through her hair . She stands up and head towards her room .

"It was just a picture in the groupchat , Abi ." Abi stopped and turn around to face her sister . "No, it wasn't just a picture in the groupchat . It was Bails posting a picture of us and Drew posting that picture of me .. then all of you sitting there saying you ship us and giving us a couples name . Our fans take that stuff seriously and you're just feeding into it ." Abi argued back , storming off and slam her bedroom door .

Abi don't know why she lashed out so badly . Yeah she didn't want her relationship or hypothetical relationship out there on complete display .. but then again it was a stupid picture in the group . She also could've easily talked to them about the comments and them stopping . The longer Abi sat there and thought about what just happened , she felt completely guilty about her overreaction .. as she should've to a point . The joking was nothing she hadn't dealt with before on other sets and the OBX group chat was completely unhinged .

So why did it bother her so much ? Was she embarrassed to be seen with Drew ? Was she weirded out because they were all so close ? Abi asked yourself every possible question .. not allowing herself to ask if she could possibly have feelings for him because it would ruin everything . Falling for her coworkers is so cliche and messy , she couldn't handle any more mess . She couldn't put herself through another relationship with a co-star and being under the public eye again . She just wanted to keep Drew close but not too close .

Her phone dings , bringing her out of her thoughts . She looks over and smiles at the name on her phone but quickly stop and scolds herself before opening it and replying .

I might have overreacted a bit and locked myself in the room .. so I think I avoided the interrogating for now .

I finally got release but I'm on probation 🙃 they're definitely going to keep asking us about it . We should get our story straight .

We were both tired and just decided to take a nap while we waited for our scenes . They're just trying to read more into it than it was .🙄

Maybe they'll let it go soon so we can forget about it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think that's the best I slept in awhile !

Btw did you know your snore ? 😂

Same . I was so tired when Maddie woke us up . I could've just stayed there all night .

And I don't snore 🙄 that was definitely you ! You were snoring so loud in my ear .
