Maddie unlocked the door to your apartment and you both shared a look when y'all heard everyone inside . "Are y'all sure y'all want to come in ? It's just an apartment ." You said walking in behind Maddie . "We want to see how you girls are living ."
You gave smiles at the group , motioning your eyes to your parents to make sure they all knew they were there . "Oh we didn't realize you guys had guests ." Your mom said as she put her hand to her mouth . "It's fine mom , they're our cast mates and they're always over ." Maddie said as she ushered them further in .
"It's good to see you again , Mr and Mrs. Cline" Chase spoke as he walked over shaking your dads hand and hugging your mom . "Literally tried to kill me and now you're being cordial with my parents ." You raised an eyebrow as you crossed your arms . His eyes shot over towards you as your mom pulled out of the hug .
"Sweetie , you know that Chase would never do that ."
"Yeah Abi , I would never do that ." Chase said walking over and throwing an arm over your shoulder . You smiled at your parents as you pinched Chase's side until he yelped in pain . "You kids are a mess ." Your mom laughed and looked over the rest of the group .
"Mom .. Dad , this is Rudy , JD , Austin , Madison and Drew ." They all waved at each other with a smile . "It's nice to meet you all . Well we should be going . You kids take care of our girls for us and no more kiwi ." She said pointing at you and Chase . You both laughed as you and Maddie walked your parents to the door .
"So Madelyn is with Chase . Any of those boys have your eye ?" Your mom turned to ask you . "No mom . We're all just friends ." You laughed as you rolled your eyes . "I think she has a crush on Drew . They always take naps together ." She wiggles her eyebrows , nudging your arm . You roll your eyes and your dad groans .
"I don't need to hear this ."
"She's a young adult , Mark . She's allowed to have a boyfriend . You do want grandchildren someday , don't you ?" You , Maddie and your dad all cringe . "Oh my God , mom . Please stop . We're just friends ." She rolls her eyes and looks at you and Maddie . "You girls have a group of good looking boys in there . Don't get too caught up in work to miss out on life . I want grandkids and I don't have to wait forever for them ."
"Dad, will you take mom home ? I don't think she feels well ." Maddie said as y'all gave them hugs and said your goodbyes . "Have fun and be safe in Barbados girls ! We love you ." Your mom said walking onto the elevator . "Neither one of you better come back married or pregnant ." Your dad pointed at you both as y'all rolled your eyes and laughed .
You and Maddie slowly walked down the hall laughing . "So are you going to tell Chase , mom is ready for grandkids ?" You laughed and nudged her arm . "Are you finally going to tell Drew you like him , so you can give mom grandkids ?" She sassed back with a raised eyebrow . You quit walking and look at her . "I don't like Drew ?"
"Oh so we're still denying it ?" She said, crossing her arms .
"There's nothing to deny . We're just friends ." She rolled her eyes and started walking . "Having him stay with you in the hospital isn't very convincing ." You walked after her , stopping her before y'all reentered the apartment . "I didn't want you and Austin to hover over me all night ." She smiled at you . "Like Drew wasn't hovering over you all night ." She winked .
Your mouth dropped open and she went for the door knob , when you smacked her hand away . "Me and Drew have never had sex and where is all of this coming from ?!"
"You should know by now that neither one of us can keep a secret from each other ."
"You're really reading too into it . We're really just friends ." You open the door knob and walk back in . Everyone hung out a little longer before returning to their own apartments to finish packing . You had just finished your room and was starting in the bathroom , that Maddie was packing up too .
You were going through the drawers , packing up everything left since Maddie had already grabbed her stuff . "Shit , I forgot to get my birth control filled before we left ." She laughed as she packed her last bag . "Are you planning on sleeping with anyone there?" She grinned and turned to face you as you rolled your eyes . "No but I would like to be protected if the opportunity presented itself ." You shrugged , walking out the bathroom to put your bags in the living room .
"A niece would be cool ! I'd get to do her hair and dress her up . A nephew would be even better . I'd get to be the drunk aunt at all his games ." Maddie said following behind you laughing . Bails came out of her room , immediately joining the conversation . "Nieces and nephews are the best . Who's having a baby ?"
"Nobody !" You said quickly .
"Abi if she's not careful . Dummy forgot to refill her birth control ."
"Just call your doctor and have it transferred to one there . That's what I had to do ." She shrugged, putting her bags beside y'all's . You nodded and went to your room to call your doctor .
