Kise x reader x Akashi

Chapter 7

You were sitting on the bench while having your lunch. Today, you prepared two boxes of bento. One for you and another one Kise's.

When you were eating with your bestfriend, "___-chan, why did you stop the basketball club?" she asks you in rather serious tone.

*sigh* "I have to. It's not like I wanted to quit. There's just something." you said, trying to hide something from her.

"Why? Can't you tell me?" she asks as she tilted her head.

"Sorry... I can't. I just don't want you to get involve in it."

She understands your feeling so she stopped asking. Well, you got a feeling that she got to guess already.

You were the ace for the girls basketball team. But since that one incident, you quit.

~flashback~

You scored a three pointer and everyone cheered for you.

"Hey! Who passed her the ball?" you heard someone whispering from one of the players. You thought that it's from your opponent but when you turned around, you saw one of you teammate, Tsubaki, was talking to the other teammate, Hikari.

"But she's our ace, and she is the one that is not block." Hikari said.

"Don't talk back to me you idiot girl!" Tsubaki raised her voice towards Hikari and smacked Hikari's head. Hardly.

You saw what happened. You went there and asked Tsubaki to stop it.

She stops but she gave you a death glare and said "just you wait"

You just shrugged it of, thinking that maybe she had her period. That's why she's in a bad mood. You faced Hikari and appologised to her because she were defending you.

After the tournament, everyone were happy to be able to enter the final except for Tsubaki and a few of her friends.

"Congrates! ___-chan!" (bf/n) came running towards you and gave you a hug.

After that, your teammates and you enter the locker room to change. When you were changing, you noticed that Tsubaki and her group of friends kept staring at you. You just kept quiet and ignored them.

"Owww!!!" you shouted because there's something in your shoes. When you see your foot, your foot is already bleeding. There's thumbtacks in your shoes.

When you were in pain, Tsubaki and her friends are laughing. Hikari ran towards you and tries to tend your wound.

"Hikari, if you get close to her, I'll make sure you'll end up like her. Or even worst." Tsubaki stated.

"W-why do yo-" Hikari were cutted off by you.

"Hahahaha... Hikari, you step away from this. I can handle it my own." you stated as you stand up.

"B-but"

"Shhhh!!! I said don't get involve in this shit. You better sit down quietly or get out from here if you don't want to see violence." you said slightly raised up your voice and smirked.

Hikari ran out.

"Tch! Can't you feel pain?"

"Hahahahaha... Pain? This? You've gotta be kidding me." you said while pointing to your foot. "And bad luck you guys, you've switch the wrong button." you said again but with lower voice and smirked. You walked towards them.

"Eeeee~ What's wrong with her? I didn't know that she is going to be like this... I thought she is going to cry. This is beyond my expectations." the girls whispered to each other. "I-I'm out of this!" one of Tsubaki's friend said and ran out. "Y-yeah! A-and it's all Tsubaki's idea!" another one proclaimed and everybody ran out, leaving you and Tsubaki in there alone.

"Heh! So that's the kind of friends you have, huh?" you walk closer to her. "What's wrong kiddo? Have anything to say to me?" you said as you shot her a death glare.

"Eeeppp! Hey! You guys! Wait for me!" Tsubaki called out for her friends and ran out.

When she's out you quickly sat on a bench and murmured 'imbeciles!'

"___! Are you ok?" Hikari ran towards you followed by your coach.

"Hehe... Nope~ My feet hurts." you said and smiled.

~end of flashback~

You continued eating. "Why do you want me to play again, (bf/n)?" you asked her.

"Well, I miss the way you play. I don't know why but I love your style of playing. Yours are different than the others. It's beautiful." she said while biting her chopsticks.

"Oh... Okay~" you felt awkward and blushed a little.

"Nevermind~ At least I can stick with you more." she said positively.

"That's weird coming from you, you know?" you said.

"Right?"

You both laughed and continue eating.
