Chapter 18

Kise's POV
When we reached near a playground which is also close to our house, I stopped.

"___-chii, do you want an ice cream?" I asked her as I smile.

"...sure..." she said softly.

"Okay~ you go and sit right there. I'll buy."

"O-oh" she said as she walked to the swing and sat. I hope she has calm herself down. If not, she can do it here because when we were small, we often come here to relieve ourselves especially when mom scolds us or when sister ((A/n: Ummmm... don't forget that actually Kise have 2 older sisters and you're his younger sis.)) bully us.

I went to the ice cream man and bought two (f/flavour) ice cream cones. I brought it to ___-chii who is staring at a few kids playing with sand. She smiles when the kids make jokes towards one another.

"Here." I gave ___-chii the ice cream and leaned against the swing's pole which is beside her.

She took the ice cream but she didn't eat/lick it at all. She just keep staring at the kids.

"You okay now, ___-chii?" I asked as lick my ice cream.

"Yea... just that I felt annoyed and irritated when that girl is so close with you."

"Ehhhhh??!" Wait wait wait. Is she jealous? Uwaahhhhhh!!! I'm so happy-ssu that she's jealous.

"And that's the girl who is behind the case the other day."

"Eh. What?"

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and said "She's the one that plot everything from the beginning. She's the one that told the other girls fake stuffs, went to find you, pretended innocent, asked for your help, and lastly saved me. Well, I know why she did that actually."

Your POV
After I said that, brother blinked his eyes for a few times. It looks like he's processing all the stuffs I just said. After a short moment, he was shocked. Seriously brother? You are taking too much time to process it.

"And why did Himiko did that?" He ask. Hmmmm... this time without 'chii' huh?

"To get closer to you of course. I didn't know you're that dense, brother."

"You should have told me sooner~ But is she really that bad?"

"Are you doubting me brother?"

"No! Not at all! I-it's just that..." he paused.

"That what?" I glare at him.

"Why would she go through that trouble just to get closer to me? I mean... couldn't she just be like... like... uuhhhhh... just talk to me or something?"

"Brother..." I sighed. "Because you have too many fans. Maybe she felt that they'll be a nuisance to her since everyone wants to be with you? It's like she's removing her competitors."

"Ahh! Uwaahhhhhhhh~" a child fell down while they were playing catching.

I quickly got up, hand my ice cream to brother and got closer to her. "Are you alright?" I asked her. She just continue crying. I looked at her knee and it has no bruise. I then took a look at her hand and it's bleeding. A little though. I took my handkerchief out and wrapped it.

"There... it's okay now." I hold her hand gently and smiled at her. "Stop crying okay?"

She nodded and hugged me. "Thank you oneechan!" She said as she smiled. I wiped her tears with my hand and patted her head. "Good girl."
