Conan woke up and laid in his bed.

Oh, he smiled, no school! Then the guilt hit him. Molony must be worried sick about me. And Benji...

A few minutes later he heard the sound of letters being pushed through the mail slot and falling to the floor.

Then he heard Kal groan and saw him sleepily walk to the door and look through the envelopes.

He threw a letter on the lower bunk opposite their's, two on the top one, one to Conan and kept two for himself.

Conan sat up and looked at his letter. It was addressed to "Mr. Conan Row". I'll have to get used to that.

He opened it and groaned.

'Give it.' Kal raised his hand to Conan. Conan gave it to him.

'Wow, it's packed! We'll have a busy day.'

'We'll?'

'Yep, I'm coming too.' He smiled and handed Conan his own letter.

There were only two things listed: "Help Conan. Go to the Youth club."

'The youth club?'

'Dad lets me do as I please all day as long as I go to the youth club, aka. the "kids-who-live-here-and-are-forced-to-go-club". It's not the youth club that's open to everyone. I hate it but it's worth doing what I want.'

'Guess that means I'll come too, I'm about the same age as you right? I'm 11, you?'

'Me too, but I do hope we get to skip it 'cause you've got so much to do.'

'Even if we don't, at least I'll meet some of the other kids here.'

Kal looked at him skeptically.

Conan looked through the rest of the envelope. He found a €50 note, a "card of residence" (Where did they get a picture of me from?) and another page with a more detailed account of what was on the first.

Kal walked to the closet and opened it.

Inside it hung two large tuxedos and camouflage suits.

Kal kneeled down to the cardboard boxes, each was labeled: Laundry, Fred, Alex, Kal and Conan (labeled last night).

'Well,' said Kal looking at Conan's almost empty box, 'if you're ok with it, I say we share our clothes, we're the same size anyway.'

'Fine by me.'

'Ok!' He started throwing clothes on his bed and up to Conan.

Once they were dressed and ready they left the room.

'Let's stop by the common room first and make a plan of when and what we have to do today.'

They sat down to an empty table. It was still quite early but there were already a fair number of people there.

'So,' Kal took a blank sheet from the printer, 'let's make a timetable for today.' He looked at the clock and wrote down the hours from 10am to 9pm. 'First, we'll put down what we have to do at a specific time,' he scribbled something, 'then we'll put down the ones with a time limit, and then the rest. I'll leave time for breaks too.'

'Done!' He slid the paper over to Conan. 'At 11 we'll help out at the post office, at 1 you've got an appointment with Dr. Rune,'

Conan groaned.

'Don't worry, it's just a check up. At 2, sadly, we'll go to the youth club, then at 3 we have to deliver a package (don't know how long that'll take so I wrote two hours), at 5 you have an appointment with Dr. Francis.'
