(Wildfire) -How about u come live here?
-like I said - I don't want to live a life like you do
(Wildfire) -come on
(Wildfire) -It's not that bad
(Tremor) -You don't have to
(Tremor) -There are lot of other jobs here
(Terror [Tina]) -You could be a hairdresser
-no
(Yuki [Debi]) -a barista?
-no
(Tremor) -an actor?

She got a message from "Ash".
-wait
She typed in the groupchat before checking it.
(Ash) -Wanna hang out?
That's mean! She thought angrily.
-Sure
-usual place?
(Ash) -Ok
Good luck with that.
(Ash) -now?
-Got a problem with that?
-no
'What now?'
'We're just sending him on a nice stroll.' She told Marty.

'Hey, you two wouldn't happen to be dating, Would you?'
'No! Gimme my phone back!' Zack was flat on the floor with Kal pinning him down. He'd already given up struggling.
He wasn't a kid any more and tried to fight back when Conan first took his phone. But two against one wasn't a good match.
Kal snorted. 'You got rejected?'
'Get off me! Let me go!'
Conan crouched down in front of him. 'I find it a bit strange that she's agreed to meet up with you at this hour if you're not even dating, don't you?'
Ha! You're being played! Smart girl! 'What do you care? I never go asking about who you go out with.'
'I've got my reasons.' He smiled. 'You would happen to know where this "usual place" is, would you?' He fake-frowned.
'There is no usual place.' Zack smirked. He won't believe it if I make it too easy. Though it's true that there really is no such place, he won't settle for an answer like that. Plus, when he comes back with "you lied" I can say I tried to tell him...
'Come on. Tell me.' He raised his hand in warning.
Zack knew what was coming, but every time he flinched. He couldn't help it.
'You asked for it.' Conan slowly, teasingly, lowered his hand and the next moment, he attacked.
'No. No. Don't you dare- Ahahahahaa!'
Tickling was an almost harmless torture method, suitable to use on comrades.
'Stohohop! Haahahaha! Okay! Okay! Haha! Just stohohop! Stop! Plehease!'
Conan stopped. 'Remind me to sign you up for endurance training later.'
Kal laughed. 'If five seconds really makes him snap, we'll have problems if an enemy gets a hold of him.'
'So ready to confess?'
Zack sighed. 'There's a playground behind Lion supermarket. We hang out by the swings.'
Kal frowned 'Lion Supermarket? That's at the other side of the city.'
'So she doesn't live here? That explains why I never ran into her. And why her GPS isn't on. Oh well.' He tossed the phone onto Zacks bed and put his coat on.
Kal let Zack go.
He rubbed his sore arms and climbed onto his bed. 'She's not some little girl that needs protecting any more.' He told K9.
'Watch him for me, will ya?'
'Sure.'
The door slammed shut.
'So, you got rejected by his sister?' Kal grinned.
'Just for the record, she told me distance relationships just don't work, she didn't reject. And is she really his sister?'
He chuckled. 'Yep! DNA test confirmed it.'

Ellie switched back to the group chat. Despite her telling them to wait, the girls had gone ahead and brainstormed a bunch of ideas.
She sent them a screenshot of the other conversation and then started answering their ideas.
Besides a few actually helpful ideas Abi seemed to be having fun writing random stuff like "a unicorn🦄", "Circus attraction" and "Extra fries".
-no, no, no, you're not even being serious, no, I don't even know what that is, no
'How about working at a pet shop?' Marty asked, trying to keep up.
'Not a bad idea. I'll ask.'
-does working at a pet shop have any specific requirements?
(Wildfire) -Oh
(Wildfire) -I know someone who works there!
(Wildfire) -I'll ask
-thanks
-but I don't think mom and dad would let me work yet
(Terror) -you're 18
-They want me to keep studying
(Tremor) -You can study here :)
-Would I get a proper degree?
(Tremor) -Yep
(Luna) -and tell them, if you have a part-time job here it's free
-is it?
(Tremor) -Since your brother's K9 who does underworld jobs regularly it is.
(Luna) -Im going for a walk, you guys want an update on k9s reaction?
(Wildfire) -Watcha think?
(Luna) -Kay
