Traumatic love *O. Hunt*

Abby knew how things were and she knew that she was thinking over her brother who was held out in the woods and she hated it. She was worried but she knew that the two of them weren't exactly talking right now

Abby walked into the work as she walked past the OR board as she saw the chief "Abby" he said as she looked to him

"Have you heard from your brother" he asked as Abby looked to him and rolled her eyes

"Hardly" Abby said

"Can you not go out there and talk to him. You two had a fight but he's your brother and he will listen to you" Webber said.

Abby looked to him and rolled her eyes

"No. I am not going out there. Things are hard enough between me and my brother to start with. I am not going to go into the woods. It's the last thing I need to be there with the brother who hates me" Abby said

Abby looked as Ellie walked up beside her and smiled "derek doesn't hate you. He's just in self pity mode" Ellie said

"Yeah and the fact I told him over my relationship with Owen didn't help, it's a mess" Abby said as Ellie looked to her and sighed

"Hey. This isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself for this" he said as she looked to her and smiled

"Yeah well I am going to focus on rounds and not my Brother and him hiding out in the woods" Abby said

"we have a case and it's a sensitive one. Anyone says anything then there's off the case. This is one of the biggest surgeries you may ever get near so pay attention. The patient is a 38 year old male who was hit by a drunk driver 12 years ago. He suffered Severus facial trauma, he's got no nose, no lips, he's had nine reconstructive surgeries. None of which have brought back fill for, or function. This surgery has only been done four times worldwide, and all of the candidates have to undergo extensive psychological testing to determine whether or not they can handle the process. That aside, this surgery has a high chance of rejection or infection" Abby said as she walked into the patient room. She looked to see Owen and smiled. She knew that she had hardly seen him

"ladies and gentlemen this is David young and today he will be receiving a face transplant" Mark said

"The donor recovery will include his nose left eye, lips, left zygoma.Why will allotransplantation work better than traditional techniques?" Owen asked

"Better aesthetic outcome, which allows for reinnervation of the facial nerves, Giving a better functional result." Abby said as Owen looked to her

"Very good, Dr. Shepherd" he said as he looked to her and smiled as they held a look

"Then we'll position the flap over Mr. Young's face.How do we know we're in the clear?" Mark asked

"When the graft turns pink." Ellie said
