"Either one of you know what this big meeting's all about?" Jackson asked
"I heard there was a coup. Webber's out. Shepherd's in." Charles asked as Abby and Ellie held a look. Abby had mixed feelings over her brother becoming her boss
" Is that true? " reed asked
" We know what you know. " lexie said
" Bull. All right? Your sister's married to the guy. You expect me to believe you don't know what's going on? He is your brother" Jackson said to Abby
" Don't you have your own loser friends to talk to?" Alex said
" I also heard Shepherd plans to clean house. " Charlee said
" Maybe he'll start with you. " jackson said
" Dude, I'm safe. The guy is my roommate. You're the ones who should watch your backs. " alex said
" Why? What do you know? " Charles said
" Simple math- Shepherd hates the merger, You're from mercy west, you're toast. " alex said
"Derek's not gonna fire people Just because they're from mercy west. He's not like that. He's loyal and fair. " Lexie said
" Yeah, tell that to webber." Alex said
"Shut it Karev. He did what he had too"
"What do you know?" Ellie asked as she looked to Abby
"I dint know anything I just know my brother" Abby said. She was sick of all of the questions and she wished that she was still in bed with Owen

The staff has gathered for Derek's big speech.
" Hey. You think he's gonna give a big speech? " teddy asked as she stood by Owen
" I don't know. " owen said. He didn't want be near teddy
" So, um, look, about the other night. I was- did you tell Abby?" She asked
"Yes. I tell Abby everything .I don't want to talk about it" he said as He joins Arizona, Callie, and Ellie and Abby
. "What the hell is he wearing? " Ellie asked
" He looks good. Chiefly. " arizona said
" He looks like an undertaker. " callie said
"I promised him we'd clap. " Arizona said
" Oh. Now? " callie asked
" No. " Arizona said as Mark stares at Ellie.
"Sloan wants sex he's starting at you" Abby said as Ellie chuckled
"Ahem. I want to thank you all for being here. I know you're busy, so I'll try to make this quick. As you may have heard, I have been appointed the new interim chief of surgery. It's my personal goal to make this transition the new interim smooth as possible. I know we've had a rocky few months" derek said
