Hello, I will be teaching HOW TO USE IBISPAINT X FOR SMUDGEART AND MANIPULATION EDIT from scratch but first,

Do you know the app(s) needed?

Probably not.

Okay, I'll tell you all the application needed and why they are important, 1. PINTEREST, This is the best app to search for references, inspirations and resources (eg; lens, eyelashes, eyebrows, piercings, cuts, bruises, etc). 2. REMINI/PIXELUP, assuming you've found a reference, using these photo enhancing apps increases the quality of the reference (You don't want to make a blurry/low quality edit now, do you?). 3. LIGHTROOM ADOBE, After increasing the quality of the reference, you drop the reference into lightroom using the noise reduction effect to smoothen the reference even more.

Now we have a smooth base,

4. IBISPAINT X, This is the most important app, obviously and you know what it's for.

Hello, I will be teaching HOW TO USE IBISPAINT X FOR SMUDGEART AND MANIPULATION EDIT from scratch but first,

Do you know how ibisPaint x works?

Probably not.

Okay, I'll show you how it works. See, the mistake that a lot of people make when learning how to edit on ibisPaint; the mistake I made, is not knowing how it works. IbisPaint has a lot of tools and they are all there for a reason and if you don't know what they are used for, how are you supposed to make something with them?

Force Fade, Have you tried that tool? Basically, Force fade makes the line you draw thin out and fade depending on how you set the tool. (Drop a random photo on ibis and try the force fade.)

Blending Mode, When you go to blending mode, you'll see a lot options

Blending Mode, When you go to blending mode, you'll see a lot options. Add/Screen is usually used to turn an element on background (eg; pre-made highlights. It's also usually used for drawing highlights and glitters in general while Multiply is used to convert an element on white background (eg; pre-made lashes, pre-made lens).

Clipping, The tool is usually more useful in manipulation edit. Clipping can be used when you want to add some shadow, highlights, or a material pattern without it sticking out from the undercoat layer. Tap the ① Layer button to open the Layer window. Select the ② clip, and add ③ shadow/highlights/Material/pattern.

Canvas size, The size of the canvas will determine how clear and high quality your edit will turn out so I recommend using a size over 2,500

I'll be dropping a base I made and I want y'all to finish the edit and send it back to me.  This segment will be done in every chapter of this book with different premade bases, I hope y'all are excited.
