Taehyung was the new guy assigned as your subordinate. It's a rare occasion to have a female supervisor especially in the male dominated economy or well misogynistic country, so Taehyung were always shy and quite reserved with you.

"I need this report compiled and printed on my desk by the end of today." You said placing down a few thin files of sales reports and a USB as you walked by his desk "Please? And thanks."

"Y-yes boss." Taehyung nodded and placed the files to his side planning to immediately start on the task

"But I need your help with taking down the minutes of the meeting first." You stopped your tracks just before entering the meeting room "So sorry."

It wasn't even his job to be with you in these meetings but your assistant was on a sick leave and everyone else had more work to do. Since Taehyung is still new, he was still adjusting to the company's system so he hasn't been given too much work.

Just like the dedicated worker he is, Taehyung sat straight on the swivel chair opposite from you with his laptop in front of him typing into it every important detail of the meeting. He even made sure it was neat so you wouldn't find it hard to understand.

"Okay, so I think that is all we needed to discuss about." You nodded to the rest of the people sitting around the table "We'll send them a better proposal and hope that by this time we can get the green light for this project."

The staff slightly bowed at you before standing up and exiting the meeting room. Taehyung was about to leave too before you called for him. Although a little fidgety, he picked up his laptop and placed it beside you as you signalled for him to sit down.

"Can you read it back to me while I look through these new proposal drafts?" You asked as if he even had the option to refuse

"Sure." He nodded and complied as he read the requirements needed by the higher ups for the new proposal

After about an hour, he was still sitting quietly next to you even though he finished reading what you needed to hear approximately 18 minutes ago. Noticing the tall male just watching your actions as you flip from one page to another, you decided to strike up a conversation.

"How has working here been for you?" You broke the silence "It's been three weeks or so right?"

"Yeah and it's been great." Taehyung answered "I'm still getting used to navigating around the system though."

"What about the environment?" You continued flipping the pages to a different proposal

"So far I'm definitely comfortable with the work culture here and my co-workers are easy to get along with." He gave you a very expected answer

"Just tell me if there's any issue okay?" You assured him "I wouldn't want to deal with you running away from the job."

"I wouldn't do such a thing." He shook his head as he assured you

"I'm just joking," You chuckled "You're free after work later?"

"Yes."

"Everyone in the team is going out for drinks to celebrate Seokjin's birthday, you should come too." You offered

"Of course," Taehyung nodded as a response "I'll get back to my work now?"

You nodded and watched as he exited the room, picking up your things you walked back to your office too. Hours passed by and it was time to clock out.

You were planning on stopping home first to change before going out drinking with your staff but you got lazy and went straight to the restaurant instead. When you got there, they had already ordered some food and drinks.
