Namjoon and you had been friends for the longest time. You used to be academic rivals then became close friends after getting accepted into the same university studying different courses.

You've shared a lot of secrets with each other since the two of grew closer but a secret Namjoon never told you is that he's had the biggest crush on you since you were in school.

That day, you were hanging out with Namjoon at his place since he rented an apartment alone. You would come over anytime you were free since staying in the dorms was super boring.

"That hurts Joon!" You shouted at him when he hit you with a spoon on the head as he walked past you to sit on the couch too

"I didn't even hit you hard." He said before using the spoon to eat his cereal

"If I was hard-headed like you it might not hurt." You shrugged earning a glare from him

The two of you sat together while a movie played on the tv screen and started chatting about it as you watched. Near the end of the movie Namjoon got a phone call from his friends saying they wanted to hangout.

He invited them over too and they arrived about half an hour later. It was the second time for you meeting his group of friends and the first time was at Namjoon's birthday party though at the time you only talked to Jin a lot.

"(Y/n)!" Jin recognized you immediately when he entered the house

"Seokjin right?" You waved at him from the couch

"Just call me Jin." He insisted

"Hi, I'm Taehyung but my friends call me V."

"I'm Jimin," The boy smiled at you then turned to Namjoon "Suga will be here later."

"Hi (y/n), I'm Jungkook." Another boy introduced himself as he joined you on the couch

"I'm your hope, I'm J-Hope." A smiley boy appeared behind Jungkook

"You're that dancer who won nationals right?" You asked recognising that introduction from that time you went with Namjoon to a dance competition his friend was competing in

"I am." He shyly admitted

All of you gathered in front of the tv and chatted over chips and soda. Not too long after, the doorbell rang and since the boys were talking you decided to be the one checking the door.

"Hi, I'm a friend of RM." The pale skinned boy said

"Suga?" You recalled the name Jimin mentioned earlier

The boy nodded with a polite smile as you stepped aside to let him in. You joined the group again after shutting the door and surprisingly got along well with everyone.

You started hanging out with more since that day and they basically became your friends too. You even grew close to Jin and Suga over your gaming hobbies.

A few more months passed and Namjoon registered to a dance competition with the rest. They started spending a lot of their time practicing in a studio owned by J-Hope's family.

So at the time, when you were bored, you would join them at the studio to enjoy the air conditioning and to give them support of course.

"(Y/n) can you pass me my phone?" Jungkook asked since it was charging next to you

"Catch." You joked posing as if you were going to throw a three pointer

"I'm so hungry." V complained laying on the floor
