You were at dinner, dressed in a long black gown you bought specifically for this occasion. It was the night of your anniversary. It had been 5 years since you and Jin became a couple and 3 years since it's been made public.

Both of you being involved in the entertainment industry, it was just a step you decided together to face early on instead of waiting. As an actress, your fans took it quite well and was mostly very supportive. Jin's fandom was a whole other story.

Despite the backlash you got from the revelation, you stayed together and Jin was always by your side when things got too loud. As time goes by, the fans slowly started to accept and become supportive of the relationship.

"I hope you had a good time today." Jin held your hand in his, his touch and warmth never failing to bring comfort

"Of course," You giggled rubbing your thumb on the back of his hand "I'm glad we get to do this in the middle of your busy schedule."

"You'll always be my priority baby." He assured

"I wasn't expecting such a romantic ending to the day though." You admitted since just earlier in the day, the two of you were out hiking in Jeju

"I'm sorry if you're tired princess."

Jin apologised for a quite rushed and busy day you had– catching a flight back to Seoul immediately after hiking and having lunch.

"No, don't be sorry, it was so much fun," You smiled and looked over at the bouquet of roses, specifically 100 soft pink roses "The flowers are so pretty too."

"Happy anniversary my love." Jin leaned across the table to kiss you on the forehead

"Happy anniversary darling." You planted a kiss on his chin just before he sat back down

"I'm sorry I have to leave so soon after our celebration," He pouted slightly "I ordered your favourite cake though."

"It's dessert time already?" You complained not wanting the night to end yet

When the two slices of cake were put on your table, you took your phone out to take a picture of how pretty it was plated while Jin silently watched and waited for your reaction.

"Wait is that-?" You paused mid sentence and gasped when you notice a silver band placed nicely in between the edible flowers on your slice

"You have been my anchor, my muse, you turned me into the best version of myself I can ever imagine of becoming, you've been the source of my joy for the longest time so I thought I just can't wait any longer," Jin smiled shyly probably slightly nervous "Will you marry me (y/f/n)?"

"Yes!" You nodded excitedly as Jin helped you with the ring that perfectly fit your finger

People around the two of you were clapping and some even came to congratulate you at your table. The night felt magical and surreal but you were forced to come back to reality soon enough.

The next day, Jin was going away again for the rest of his tour. He had only flew back to Korea to propose in the midst of his tour and you couldn't come along due to being in the middle of a drama shooting.
