Stiles felt like no one saw him anymore and a part of him just wished he could disappear. It wasn't like anyone would miss him. Right?
What he didn't realize was that his spark listened and he became invisible. The next day, he was getting ready to open his locker after practice when he overheard Scott and Isaac discussing the darkness Stiles was infecting the pack with and were planning to kick him out of the pack.
Stiles's heart broke at their words, his chest tightening with panic. The two wolves laughed and Stiles knew the sound would forever haunt him. He was about to leave when suddenly he heard Jackson's voice coming to his defense.
The spark watched as the coyote shifter shoved the two wolves and passionately defended Stiles. It made the spark blush and he turned the corner to say something only to realize they couldn't see him. He had thought that Isaac and Scott were just poor excuses for wolves and didn't use their senses but then he thought back on the school day and realized no one had seen or spoken to him once.
Stiles hid in the shower area, trying to slow his breathing, tears slipping down his cheeks. Someone knelt down in front of him, shocking him when they said, "I see you, Stiles. I always have and always will."
Stiles glanced up, his amber eyes meeting blue eyes. "Jacks?"
"Hey, Miko."
Stiles choked back a sob, lunged at the jock, and tightly clutched the one who had been his best friend until Claudia died. "How?"
Jackson smiled, and shrugged one shoulder. "I don't know, but I can see you here," he whispered, as he tapped Stiles's chest over his heart.
"But my spark—"
"I know but you're my mate, Miko. You'll never be invisible to me. Even if you weren't my mate, you're my best friend."
Stiles swallowed thickly. "Are you sure?"
"A thousand percent," Jackson said softly as if imparting a secret meant only for them.
Stiles smiled and chuckled wetly as he pulled Jackson's lips to his own. "I love you, Jacks," he whispered.
"And I love you, Miko."
