Chapter 2

Lucy and May have been driving for the past four days. "Here we are." Lucy says stopping at a small home.

"Our new home." Lucy says smiling as May looks down sadly. "Hey buttercup what's wrong?" Lucy says poking May's nose.

"It's my fault we had to move again." May says looking at her mom. "Oh honey it's okay it never was your fault. I have a great feeling about this place." Lucy says booping May's nose.

"You're going to a near by school from here alright; you start tomorrow." Lucy tells May as she nods.

"Let's go say hi to the neighbors!" Lucy says excitedly as her daughter chuckles.

May and Lucy walk up to the door knocking.

The door opens revealing a teenage girl with purple hair holding a baby. "Hi! Is your mother here?" Lucy says happily as May looks at the girl embarrassed.

"Uhh yea? Mom! Some red head lady is looking for you!" The girl says as the baby laughs.

Helen walks to the door opening it more as Violet walks away.

"Lucy?" Helen says shocked. "It's me!" "OH MY LUC!" Helen says hugging the taller woman close.

"come on in please." Helen says as they all walk inside. "Bob Lucy is here!" Helen yells out to her husband.

"Well if it isn't taserwoman! Good to see you old friend." Bob say side hugging Lucy.

"This is your daughter? She looks just like you. She's so beautiful." Helen says hugging May as Lucy chuckles.

"So is yours." Lucy says smiling. "Kids come down here I want you to meet some people!" Helen yells out to her children.

-MAY'S POV-

We sit down on the sofa as I see the same girl that opened the door with the baby.

As the girl moves I see a blond hair boy around my age.

"Kids this is Lucy my best friend the one I told you about and this is her daughter... I'm sorry I never got your name hun." Helen says smiling.

"May." I say looking at them. "I remember Violet when she was a little baby." my mother says as Helen and Bob chuckle.

"Yea then we both found out we were pregnant and you had to move a year later." Helen says sighing at the memory.

"You know I didn't want to but he wanted to." My mom says sadly.

"Why don't you kids get to know each other talk about your powers and stuff." Bob says making the moms smile.

"You got powers too?" Dash asks making me nod.

"Sure." The girl says handing Helen the baby.

"We can go to my room because trust me Dash's room is a mess." The girl says laughing as her brother protests.

"I'm Violet and that's my brother Dash." Violet introduces as Dash walks next to me.

"That's me and our baby brother is Jack-Jack." Dash says making me smile.

"So are you visiting?" Dash asks me as we sit in Violets room. "Uh no we just moved in next door." I tell him making him gasp.

"Awesome new friend! What school are you going to?!" He asks me making me giggle at his excitement.

"I'm going to the one close by here." I tell him making him smile widely. "Cool! I go there too!"

"You'll get used to that, but my power is that I can turn invisible and creating force fields." Violet tells me as she turns invisible and creates a small orb in the color purple.

"That's really cool." I tell her making her smile. "Not as cool as me though. I can run real fast like in seconds watch." Dash says as he disappears out of nowhere.

"Here you go." Dash says appearing back with a little flower handing it to me making me blush. "Thanks" I tell him making him smirk in accomplishment.

"So what can you do?" Dash asks making me chuckle. I focus on him and make him float up a little bit. "Woah!" Dash says as Violet watches carefully.

I drop him back slowly on the floor as he smiles. "That's neat you got telekinesis!" Dash says as Violet nods smiling.

"Yeah." I say rubbing my arm. "May come on time to go!" My mother call out to me making Dash groan.

"Nice meeting you guys" I tell them as they wave at me. I walk out her room walking through the hallway as I feel a whoosh of air.

"What room did you pick?" He asks me making me raise an eyebrow. "The one with the window by the tree upstairs?" I say confused.

"My room is by that tree too! Here." Dash says tossing me a walky-talky. "For when ever you want to talk." Dash says making me smile.

"I've never had a friend before." I tell him. "Well then I'm honored to be the first and we're gonna be best friends." Dash says as we chuckle.

"May!" My mother calls out to me. "I'll keep in touch bye." I tell him as I wave at him.

"Hey can you hear me? over." I say talking to the walky. "Loud and clear over." Dash says making me chuckle. "Open your window over and out" Dash says making me go to the window and open it seeing him at his window.

"Hey there May." Dash says making me smile. "Hey Dash." I tell him as he throws me a lollipop making me use my power.

"You ready for school tomorrow?" He asks me making me sigh. "I guess." I tell him. "Don't worry I'll be by your side all the time you need." He tells me making me smile.

"Dash go to sleep!" I hear his mom yell out. "Well that's my call goodnight May see you in the morning." "Goodnight Dash".
