Later that day, the Parrs and Wildes are riding to the motel in a black van.

Lucy sighs and she looks at her daughter sleeping on Dash's shoulder making her smile.

"Dad, this is probably not the best time to tell you about this...but something else happened today with a kid...and my mask." Violet says.

"Oh, hey, Rick. Violet thinks a friend of hers, a kid named Tony...might have seen her in the outfit, without her mask." Bob tells him

"Talkative type?" Rick asks

"Don't know. Last name is Rydinger." Bob tells him.

"Tony Rydinger. I'll check it out. Bob, Helen, Lucy...a word if you don't mind. Uh, the program's been shut down." Rick tells them as their kids wait for them a few feet away.

"What?" Bob says confused.

"Politicians don't understand people who do good simply because it's right. It makes 'em nervous. They've been gunning for Supers for years. Today was all they needed. Anyway, I'm done. I'm afraid two more weeks in the motel is the best I can do for ya. It ain't much." Rick tells them.

"You've done plenty, Rick." Helen says as she and Lucy hug Rick.

"We won't forget." Lucy tells him smiling.

"Well, it has been a great honor working with you good people." Rick tells them.

"Thanks for everything, and good luck." Bob says and shakes Ricks hand.

"Yeah. You, too."

Lucy and Helen walk to the dinner table as Helen carries Jack-Jack.

"Did you wash your hands?" Violet asks her bother as he sits down next to May. Dash runs to the sink.

"With... soap?" Dash runs to the sink again. "Did you dry them?"

Dash shakes his hands to dry them and then shoves food in his mouth making May stiffle a laugh.

Then Helen puts some food next to Dash as her and Lucy sit down.

"WHAT?! Is this all vegetables? Who ORDERED all vegetables?!" Dash yells out in disbelief.

"I did. They're good and you're going to have some." She says as she puts some vegetables on Dash's plate making Lucy chuckle at the boy.

"Are we going to talk about it?" Violet asks

"What?" Bob says confused.

"The elephant in the room." May says bluntly as Dash places all his carrots on her plate.

"What elephant?" Lucy says looking around. " I guess not then." Violet says sighing.

"You're referring to today." Helen tells the girls as they nod.

"Yeah, what's the deal with today?" Dash asks.

"We all made mistakes. For example: you kids were supposed to watch Jack-Jack." Helen tells them more specifically her kids.

"Babysitting, while you guys did the important stuff." Violet tells her.

"We talked about this. You're not old enough to decide about these things." Helen tells her daughter.

"We are old enough to help out." Violet says as May just looks at her mother as Lucy just shrugs.

"Yeah!!" Dash says as he side hugs May shaking the poor girl.

"Isn't that what you tell us, Dad?" Violet asks him.

"Yeah, well, "help out" can mean many different things." Bob tells his daughter.

"But we're supposed to help, if there's trouble." May says. "Thank you" Violet says stretching her arm out to her.

"Not helping buttercup." Lucy whispers to her daughter.

"Well, yeah, but..." Bob starts.

"Aren't you glad we helped today?" Violet asks.

"Yeah, I know but..." "You said that you were proud of us." Violet tells him

"Well, yeah, I was—AM!" Bob says quickly.

"We wanna fight bad guys!" Dash says slamming his fist to the table making Jack-Jack babble mockingly.

"No, you don't!" Helen tells him.

"You said things were different now." Violet tells her mother.

"And they were...on the island. But I didn't mean that from now on..." Helen tells her.

"So now, we've gotta go back to never using our powers." Violet says making May look at her mother.

"It defines who I am." Dash says making May snort.

"We're not saying you have...What?" Bob says looking at his son confused.

"Someone on TV said it." Dash says shrugging his shoulder as May places chicken on his plate making him smile at her happily.

"Can we just eat the dinner, while it's hot?" Lucy asks laughing nervously as the Parrs argue. "Yes what Luc said let's eat like a family" Helen tells them.

"Did we do something wrong?" Dash asks.

"Yes." "No." Helen and Bob say at the same time as Dash looks at Lucy.

"Don't look at me kid." Lucy says putting her hands up.

"We didn't do anything wrong." Bob tells his son.

"Superheroes are illegal. Whether it's fair or not, that's the law." Helen tells him.

"The law should be fair. What are we teaching our kids?" Bob tells her.

"To respect the law!" Helen says frustrated as Lucy leans down to her daughter.

"Just don't get caught kiddo." Lucy tells her making her daughter chuckle as they fist bump.

"Even when the law is disrespectful?!" Bob tells her.

"If laws are unjust, there are laws to change them! OTHERWISE, it's CHAOS!" Helen yells out

"Which is EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE!" Bob yells out as Helen slams the table and Bob takes a bite from an egg roll as Lucy slurps her soda looking back and forth.

"I just thought it was kinda cool." Violet speaks up. "What was?" Helen asks her daughter.

"Fighting crime, all together as a family." Violet says looking at everyone.

"It was cool. But it's over. The world is what it is. We have to...adapt." Helen says sighing.

"Are things...bad?" May asks her mom. "Things are fine buttercup" Lucy tells her.

"May we be excused?" Dash asks as he runs and takes May with him and watches TV.

"How much longer in the motel, Dad?" Violet asks him.

"Uh..." Bob says not knowing what to say.

"Not much longer, Vi. But start getting comfortable because it's all seven of us in here." Lucy tells her laughing.
