Chapter 8

The Parrs and Wildes are in a limo as they are driven to a destination.

"Mr. Deavor, it's wonderful but it's too generous." Lucy says on the phone as Dash and May play rock paper scissors.

"Nonsense! That's the least we can do. We're partners now! Can't have my partners living in a motel." Winston tells them.

"But w-whose house? Is it a house?" Helen asks.

"It's my house. I have several. I'm not using that one. Stay as long as you need." Winston says as they see a mansion.

"We don't know what to say." Helen says as Lucy looks at the mansion shocked.

"How about "thanks"?" Bob says as everyone looks at the mansion.

"This is our new house?!" Dash says as him and May look around in awe.

"Okay, easy, tiger. It's being loaned to us." Helen tells her son chuckling.

"This is homey." Violet says looking around.

"Look at this place. Deavor bought it from an eccentric billionaire who liked to come and go without being seen so the house has multiple hidden exits." Bob says.

Dash picks May up and uses his super speed to explore the house with her.

"Good thing we won't stand out. Wouldn't want to attract any unnecessary attention." Violet says.

"It's got a big yard!" Dash yells out as May stays on his back.

"Isn't this a bit much?" Helen asks. "It's a whole lot of something if you tell me." Lucy says laughing.

"Near a forest!"

"Would you rather be at the motel?" Bob asks his wife.

"AND A POOL!" Dash and May yell out as the others inside hear a big splash.

"What exactly is Mom's and Luc's new job?" Violet asks her Dad.

"The important thing is we're out of the motel." Bob tells her.

"I LIKE MOM'S NEW JOB!" both May and Dash yell out as their moms chuckle.

Dash shakes off the water getting May more soaked. Dash spots the remote and presses some buttons. "Wah oh, ho, ho!" Dash says as he hands May a towel.

A river opens up in front of Helen, Lucy and Bob. "Whoa!"

Dash presses another button making waterfalls.  "Well, check out the water features." Bob tells his wife and friend.

A small pathway opens up in the middle of the waterfall and Helen, Lucy, and Bob walk across.

"Wicked cool!" Dash says as May chuckles.

Dash presses another button making a couch rise and the fire place lit. He presses another button making the TV go up. He presses yet another button but opens another river under the couches, making them fall in.

"Oh no." May says looking at the furniture.

"Hey! Dash! Stop it!" Bob yells out.

He keeps pressing buttons to try to fix it but makes things worse.

"Not the couch! Stop it!" Helen yells out as Lucy dies of laughter.

"No! Dash! Stop! Don't touch the buttons!" Bob yells out to his son.

"The couch!" "Dash!" "No! No, NO!"

Dash quickly puts back the remote and takes May with him as he runs off.

"May get the room next to mine!" Dash says excitedly making May laugh.

"Alright I will now go shower." May tells him making him go into his room.

-MAYS POV-

I watch as Dash goes to his room. I walk to my room to shower after jumping into the pool with Dash.

After my shower I change and get ready for bed.

'How do I tell him?'

Third person Pov

"What is this?" Lucy tells her daughter as they see her new hero costume.

"Well no more blue I guess." May says chuckling.

"Buttercup, dark colors isn't me at all." Lucy says looking at the long coat with the black high heels.

"You look great mom." May says as she gets up to hug her mom making them both smile.

Helen, Bob and Lucy open the door to the garage.

"New Elasticycle and Tasercycle! ." both woman say gasping.

"Elasticycle? I didn't know you had a bike."

"Hey, she had a mohawk. There's a lot about your wife you don't know." Lucy tells Bob as they get on the motorcycles.

"Yeah, but-...a mohawk?"

"Ah, you didn't miss anything."Helen says making Lucy chuckle. "Oh, yeah! These ones are electric." Helen says as they power them on.

"Wh-what's that mean?" Bob tells them.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Oh! Means it's torque-y. I'll get the hang of it." Helen says as she gets away from the wall she bump into.

"You ladies will be great." Bob tells them.

"We will be great. And you will, too." Helen tells him.

"We will all be great." Bob says as he pushes a button and the waterfall at the exit opens up.

"Bye sweetie!" "Bye Bobbie!!"

Bob waves at them as they rode off making him sigh.
