Sarah's P.O.V.
Wow, I can't believe that no one has messed with me today. As she is thinking to herself the bell rings to go to lunch. So Sarah goes to her locker, gets her lunch box and walks into the cafeteria. Sarah suddenly realizes that she is going to have to sit by herself due to the fact that her best friend Mary went home earlier that day because of stomach cramps. She makes her way to her lunch table and takes out her peanut butter and jelly sandwiches along with a apple juice box. Sarah looks around to see everyone in the cafeteria having conversation, and notices Danny Montrez walking her way.
Danny's P.O.V.
I can't believe that Courtney cheated on me with my best friend Carlos, yes I was completely dumbfounded that all of this just piled onto me in one day and I would be absolutely crazy if I sat with them today after what they did to me. Danny sees Sarah sitting all alone so he walkes to her table and sits with her. "Hey, Sarah right"? Danny asked calmly. "Yes, Sarah is my name". Sarah said nervously. "So why are you sitting all alone today?" Danny asked. "My friend Mary went home early, so I'm sitting by myself". Sarah said. "Ooh, Hey aren't you in my algebra class?" Danny asked. "Yeah I sit behind you and in front of Carlos". Sarah said. "Really, I never noticed, maybe its because your so quite". Danny said. " Yeah, im not that much of a talker, I mean, who would want to listen to me talk". Sarah said sadly. "How could you say that about yourself, you are a very sweet, cool person". Danny said smiling at Sarah. "Wow, I didn't know you thought of me, as that type of person, everyone thinks I'm a total freak". Sarah said. "Well, everyone has never really gotten to know you like I used to". Danny said. As Sarah and Danny are talking Sarah has a flash back to when they were both 12 at Danny's house.
Sarah's Flash back
"I'm gonna catch you Danny" Sarah said happily. "You wish". Danny said.
Sarah chased Danny for what seemed like forever, finally she caught him and they fell on top of each other laughing. Danny helped Sarah up and they started staring deep into each others eyes, then kissed her. "Sarah I really like you". Danny said. "I really like you too Danny." Sarah said. "Can we promise that no matter what happens we will never stop having our friendship". Danny said. "Yes, I promise that no matter what happens, we will still have our friendship". Sarah said. Danny kissed Sarah again and they walked hand and hand back to Sarah's house.
12:45 p.m.
Danny's P.O.V.
"I really miss those days when we would be outside, in the sun, having the time of your lives". Danny said joyfully. "Dido, I wish we could still have those days". Sarah said staring deep into Danny's hazel blue eyes. "I remember when we were 14 at Lily Aarons birthday party and we were playing spin the bottle". Danny said.
"OMG, yes and we had to do 7 seconds in heaven". Sarah said excitedly. In the middle of their reminisce, the lunch lady, Isabel, came and told them the bell rang over 20 minutes ago. "I didn't even hear the bell sound". Sarah said. "Neither did I". Danny said. "Well I should get going, I'm already late for my English class, I'll see you around Danny". Sarah said grabbing her books and purse. "Sarah wait up". Danny said. "Yeah". Sarah asked. "Are you free later?" He asked. "Um, It depends". Sarah said with a sassy tone. "I was wondering could you help me with my Algebra homework". Danny said. "Ooh, yeah I'm free later". Sarah said. "Sweet, can you come to my house around 6"? Danny asked. "Will do, 6 is great". Sarah said happily.
