Chapter 5

The first to be dropped off is Linda

Minerva: Oh, so Linda, where do you live? Linda: Near Lake Accomplishment Minerva: Dang, and you go to school all the way over here? Linda: Yeah. Minerva: Well I was going to drop you off first but since you live near Lake Accomplishment I might as well drop of Leia first. Leia: No it's okay, my mom doesn't mind. Minerva: Are you sure? Leia: Yeah, she trusts you guys. Minerva: Okay.

They start driving when Minerva starts talking

Minerva: So what did you guys do? Leia: We shopped for clothes, took pictures and just hung around. Minerva: Who payed? Linda: James. Minerva: Really, you payed? James: For most of it. Linda: He payed for Leia at American Eagle. Minerva: And how much was that? Leia: About 112. Minerva: What the heck? What did you buy? Leia: A mesh dress, a flannel, a shirt and t-shirt. Minerva: Dang, you're not cheap are you. James: Mom.

Leia laughs

Later they get to Lake Accomplishment, it's in a hilly area 

They arrive at Linda's house

It's your typical white one story middle class house with bushes on the side of the house

James: This is where you live? Linda: Yeah. James: They paid your parents good when they moved over here then. Linda: Yeah. Bye. Thanks for the ride.

Linda leaves and enters her house

As they drive off, James says something

James: It's weird. Minerva: What? James: That a house belonging to a construction worker needs 3 cameras in front of the house. Minerva: They had cameras? James: Yeah, two on the side of the house, one for the doorbell. Minerva: It's probably because of how dark it gets out here. James: But three cameras? The doorbell one is understandable but what about the two disguised as bushes. Minerva: What? James: Those weren't real bushes, they were fake to hide a camera, you can't tell unless you know what to look for and looking real closely. Leia: What are you trying to say? James: That maybe there's more to Linda than we know. Leia: Secret agent parents? James: Probably. Leia: Cool.

Later they drop off Leia and as she's leaving her and James grab each others hands without Minerva noticing

James: Bye. Leia: Byeee. I'll text you later. James: Ok!

Later James is home and Riley is there to ask James how it went

Riley: So how did it go? James: It went good. Riley: Just good?

James looks around and notices Minerva isn't around

James: It's official, we're a thing now! Riley: Really? Swear! James: I swear! Riley: Ooooh. Did you hear that Noah, our baby brother has a girlfriend! James: What?

Riley brings her phone up, revealing she was on the phone with Noah

She puts it on speaker

James: Oh wow! Noah: Dang James. Our brother is a player! Riley: How did it happen? James: Riley stop it. Riley: I bet she made the first move. Noah: Weak! James: No. Noah: In all seriousness, it's good that you got over the loss of Sabrina. It wasn't your fault, you made the right choice. I'm proud of you man! James: I had help from a friend. Noah: So when do I get to meet her? James: One day, Noah. Noah: Your birthday right? James: Yeah, my birthday for sure. Noah: Okay, well I'll let you guys go! Riley: Alright, bye Noah.
