ROASTING YOUR AUL CRACKSHIPS (part 1?)

READ THIS BEFORE THE ROASTS: This is meant to be funny and also reasonable. I'm bad at making roasts so basically this is rating/telling my own opinion on them. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE ROASTS ON THOSE WHO SHIP THE CRACKSHIPS! Please take this easily and remember that I respect all of you no matter what you ship. 

Let's begin!

First off let's take crankships from discord that you gave me:

EggTek (Mr. Egg x Tek)

 On one hand I ship this ship, because something about a romance between a shy but confident mechanic with a silly pun maker that cracks viewer's hearts with his eggy nature, but on the other...

There's basically almost none evidence of Tekegg, like almost all other popular ships have their moments that give off that ship energy. Sometimes it also feels a lot like it's a platonic relationship rather than romantic. And of course this is that kind of a ship where you just mostly think about how they would get along together, but it's kind of annoying because the ship doesn't have a proper base that it could be based on. So when you're making any one-shots or scenarios, you go off the canon a lot. And yes yes I hear you shouting about headcanons, but seriously am I the only one who likes more the canon stuff about the characters? (What I mean is "canon headcanons" or those ones that are highly possible, and plus the canon personalities)

PlayCap (Player x Captain)

Anyways let's begin..

First off, yall realize that Captain is dating Dum? Yes yes, that happened only after hacking security cameras episode aka Captain and Dum being partners in crime. But look at this in a logical view: even if this is a typical ship of a happy idiot and an annoyed main character, they really don't get along well. Player being irritated by Captain and pretty much hating him at the start, and Captain ignoring the fact that Player doesn't want to be his best friend. And also I need to say this: Captain would never be a better best friend for Player than Veteran, which also proves the fact that as partners they wouldn't be happy together at all. Reasons for this: Player doesn't feel almost any positive emotions around Captain, even if now he's more ok about him and they are much better friends now (I have gone trough this kind of thing with my irl bestie too so it's pretty familiar for me), and Captain doesn't understand how Player actually feels. Plus who's just gonna say to you that you're their best friend after playing the same game together for only 4 days, and not having a proper conversation before even becoming friend? yes, they might've had interactions outside the game for example in Discord, but just look at Players reaction in that situation, does he seem happy to you? 

And also yes, I'm not a big fan of he's annoying but cute trope in ships, because it works only sometimes with certain types of characters. Like if Player and Veteran didn't have a personality change in aul and would have been the same cute and harsh bean combo, this kind of thing would have worked. They at least enjoy each others company while  Captain also doesn't seem to be happy about Player not wanting to be his bff. 

What I'm saying is that Player would've been just pushed into their friendship, and if for gods sake they would have been in a relationship, Player would just go as well insane. 

Next off:

VetGrease (Veteran x Greaser)

I honestly hate this ship

And not only because I ship Plateran

Yes, Veteran basically was crushing/simping on Greaser, but listen: I've been trough the same, but in my place it was also affection for that persons kindness. Veteran mostly liked Greasers "badass" personality, but absolutely close his eyes on the fact that Greaser was kind of a dickhead to Player. Plus, it's highly possible that Player could explain Veteran why Greaser is actually a jerk. And also, why would someone still respect/appreciate/simp etc.. on someone who literally insults your best friend. Veteran does have some common sense and we all know it, and also he has a stronger emotional bond with Player than Greaser which should be very obvious by now. Plus Greaser and Veteran haven't interacted with each other since the 4th episode, (aka like if we don't get any proof of them being in touch after it from GT, it's not officially canon). and think about if Veteran would just copy Players words about "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" when he straightly denied the logic of those words.
