"OH NO!" I say

I rush out to go to my car to go to the hospital with Mia. 

*15 mins later..*

I run into the hospital doors. 

"I'm looking for a patient named Joshua y/l/n! Is he here?!" I yell to the nurse in the front.

"Let me see the list.. yes in room 105 to the left." She says

I run to room 105 to see him in the bed sleeping.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" I yell to my parents

"He choked on a piece of food and it got stuck in his esophagus." Mom said

"Did he not drink water??" I say

"You know your brother he's too stubborn to drink when he eats." Dad says

" Or you just talked to him when he was eating and didn't think to tell him to drink too?" I say

"You're just blaming it on him because you don't want to look bad to the doctors when he wakes up I'll ask him myself!" I yell at them

*Exists Y/n POV* 

*Narrator POV*

Y/n's little brother Josh was diagnosed with Tracheomalacia (how to say it because it's a lot of doctor words in the chapter is:  tray key oh mah LAY she ah)  when he was born and her parents knew nothing about it. They acted as if they cared but at that point Y/n was the one asking the doctors questions like "what medicine do we give him if he were to choke on for example a popcorn would we do the Heimlich so he would spit it out." They found out that Tracheomalacia is a rare combination when the patients trachea, is soft, weak and floppy. Which means when he eats he has to eat slow or he will choke and it'll get stuck in his trachea and will make it hard to breathe. * just so y'all know this is an actual diagnosis I'm not faking it you can Google it right now for more like information about it*

*Y/n POV*

I see Josh wake up. My parents left to go get food I don't think they're coming back anytime soon.

"Hey dude. How are you?" I say

Josh looks away

"Damn ok fine look I'm sorry. I should have been there the minute I got the phone call but I left my phone at the apartment when I went to hang out with my friends. I know that's not a good  excuse but it's all I got." I say

"I'm not mad at that. I'm made that you left me with them. Why couldn't I just stay with you at your apartment?"Josh said

"Oh I didn't think you want to."  I said

"I hate it there all they talk about is how you—" Joshua gets cut off when someone barges inside the room

"Y/N are you ok what happened?!" Matt yells

"HOLY SHIT THATS MATT STURNIOLO!" Josh yells

"Oh uh I thought you were in the hospital not um well I don't think I know who you are yet I'm Matt,  y/n's friend." Matt says

"Holy shit you're friends with Matt oh uh I'm Josh, her younger brother." Josh says

"I see you already know me I'm guessing you watched my videos together?" Matt says 

I nod

"Uh I think you've both been introduced I'll talk with Matt for a sec then I'll come back ok Josh?" I say as he nods.
