Andy Goldfarb (im in love)

Part 4 The Ledge

All of us girls are hanging out by the ledge, talking and being on our phones. Its been a few days since the party where Andy saw me in that tight dress, but we continue snapping. We've been talking too, but not anything weird. Mostly about soccer, since we both play.

"Guysss," Stacy says. "I know I said I'm over him, but Andy is so cuteeee. He said he's coming in a few minutes."

What??? I thought she didnt like him anymore. That's why i've allowed myself to get closer to him. Now I can't talk to him anymore. I was actually starting to like his personality. Especially his face.

"Stace," Nikki says. "When he comes here, make a move."

"Okay." Stacy replies.

Lydia and I make eye contact. She's the only one I've told about my feelings for andy.

"Did you know that for 2 weeks, Andy hasn't hooked up with anyone at all! He used to every single day, but he just hasnt. So weird." Tara says.

I hear bikes and soon enough, the boys are throwing their bikes on the ground and sitting down around us.

"Waddupp," Andy says, mostly to me. Then he turns to Stacy. "Just won against that crappy school, 3-0 even though their field sucks."

"That field is so lopsided," Stacy says, in a daydream.

Andy stares at her. My stomach lurches. "Exactly." He says to her, smiling.

I look away and take out my phone. Aaron asks me, "Mom was asking what you want for dinner."

"Uhm," I'm nervous for some reason. "Anything." I say.

Aaron looks at me funny. I always know what I want to eat.

"Here Charlie, let me do your hair," Kym says, coming behind me. She takes a while but soon, my hair looks like the picture above.

"Nice," Andy says to me. I blush. "So, who's gonna jump with me?" He asks.

I frown. It's so high.

"I'll go!" Stacy jumps up.

Everybody is in shock, but she goes, and me and lydia try to convince her, really do, and even Andy doesnt jump. Just stacy. And when she does,  shes safe, and everyone cheers for her.

"CHARLIE WHITE, I DID ITTTTTTTTT!" Stacy calls to me. I laugh.

"Charlie White," Andy says to me. "I'll call you charlie brown then."

But then, we get distracted by a pad floating right next to Stacy. Everybody stops, and then I hear laughing and Andy joking to Lydia about stacy turning the water into the red seas. I run down the hill to Stacy and try to comfort her, but she yells.

"Thanks for laughing, Lydia!" Stacy to Lydia who followed behind me.

"I didn't laugh!" she says.

"C'mon Stace, she didnt mean it in a mean way," I try to back up Lydia.

"REALLY? UR DEFENDING HER???" stacy cries.

Im speechless. Im not good in these situations.

"You know what, Lydia? I'm not doing your entrance video."

Stacy is crying hysterically.

"Fine!" Lydia yells.

"And one more thing, Lydia Rodriguez Katz and Charlie White, you are SO NOT INVITED TO MY BAT MITZVAH!"
