Two weeks have passed since Anne and Bucky captured Manbat and managed to cure Kirk into returning to his human form. However, they weren't sure if the manbat's blood was still in him. For now, He was okay, and Francine has been taking care of him.
However, for the last two weeks, there have been multiple robberies happening by an unknown gang. The police have been trying their best to capture this gang, but they seemed to have a lot of tricks under their sleeve and escape easily.
Right now, the time was eight p.m, Anne and Bucky were both watching the news together as the news channel was talking about the robberies as Bucky spoke to Anne.

Bucky: This criminal gang is always a step ahead. Even the police are unable to arrest them.
Anne: You're right, Buck, but I'm trying to figure out if these are Joker's henchmen.
Bucky: From what you told me, I don't think they look Joker's thugs, nor do they look like Mad Hatter's thugs.
Anne: I know this isn't Mad Hatter's kind of motive.
Bucky: Then they should be a completely new gang that arrived in Gotham.
Anne nodded as they continued watching the news until there was a security footage of the gang leader who was wearing a mask as he began taunting the camera.
???: This is just the beginning, Gotham, This city is going to be painted red, and we are going to own this city!
He let out an evil laugh before shooting the camera as Bucky and Anne looked at each other before it went back to the reporter talking about the case as Anne and Bucky were thinking, Who could this new gang be? Who do they work for?
Meanwhile, in the police department, Jack, Alex, and Benjamin were seen watching the news as they sighed to themselves.
Benjamin: This is the first time I seen a gang that is actually pretty smart, then most gangs.
Alex: They make sure to sweep every piece of evidence. But we need to stop them.
Jack: They already caused enough damage, and we are not stopping until we throw them behind bars.
Benjamin: You're right, Commissioner. But the question is, who is this new gang, and who do they work for?
Alex: We don't know yet, but I got a feeling they work for Joker.
Jack: Joker? I don't think so.
Benjamin: It's either Joker or maybe it's someone new.
The Detectives and the commissioner were thinking about the case as Benjamin was reading through some files until they heard something in the office as they looked around until they saw someone through the shadows as they moved back.
Benjamin: Batwoman?
Batwoman and Bucky stepped out of the shadows as they all looked at each other before Alex said something.
Alex: I'm guessing it's about the new gang?
Bucky: Have you found a lead or anything?
Jack: *Sighs* We're taking a pounding over this new gang.
Benjamin: Their boss puts heists together, Plus they are really smooth.
Alex: It explains why we haven't found anything yet. Except for video footage.
Anne: What footage?
Jack: It was a footage from their recent crime where they were leaving the crime scene.
Benjamin: Maybe if you want, you could try figuring something out with the footage we have?
Anne looked at them before she nodded as Jack took off a data drive and gave it to Anne as She was looking at it before Alex said something to her.
Alex: Let us know if you need any help.
Anne looked and nodded as both Bucky and Anne left the department as Jack looked at them.
Jack: Next time, We need a brighter light.
Benjamin: No kidding, both of them came out of the shadows just like that.
Alex: Yeah, but let's see what they can do. Hopefully, they can find a lead.
Meanwhile, in the batcave, Anne and Bucky were watching the footage, which was the gang members that were escaping after their successful robbery.
Although both of them couldn't identify the criminals as they replayed the footage several times.
Anne: Notice anything?
Bucky: No, not yet.
Anne: They are clearly clever, masked, and gloves. Along with their strategy of escaping
They continued watching the footage until Anne and Bucky noticed something when one of the thugs ran through the door and something caught their shirt, which torned it apart as Bucky paused the footage and Anne zoomed into the torned shirt.

There was a tattoo on the man's arm as Anne had a small smile on her face.
Anne: Bingo.
Bucky: A tattoo?
Anne: That's the only lead we have now. The tattoo does look familiar.
Bucky: Try going through the criminal database and see what we can find.
Anne: You read my mind.
Anne opened the criminal database through her Batcomputer as she was trying to find someone with the matching tattoo, As they continued looking through, they found someone who had the matching tattoo.
Anne: This is it, Charles Daly.
Bucky: Looks like a kinda guy I beat up on the alleyway.
Anne: When did you do that?
Bucky: A long time ago. But who is he anyway?
Anne: Charles Daly was a criminal and committed some crimes such as assault and robbery. Though he escaped one night and was never found again. But now that we have found him, He can tell us about his new boss.
Bucky: Where can we find him?
Anne: I know a way we can find him.
Both of them were discussing the situation before they managed to find Charles's location as Anne and Bucky left the batcave to find Charles and hopefully find info about their new boss.
