Liar Chapter 29

( Robin's Pov )

My eyes linger on Finney as I hold his hand tight not wanting to ever let go. "Please Finn?" I beg my heart racing as much as my mind.

I get what I did with Jenna was a mistake but... Finney was getting close to Sam. So I'm not fully to blame. 

Finney's head drops. He stares at the ground as tears begin to fall faster. "Can we just talk... Later at the party or something." Finney says sniffing. I nod slowly as Finney pulls his hand away. "I'll see you later." I say looking down frowning.

As Finney walked away I felt my heart drop. I felt honestly stupid for what I did. Jenna and I had history.  We went to homecoming and prom last year. We almost dated... But I can't really use that as an excuse. 

I begin walking down the halls going to the nearby bathroom. I slowly entered the big stall at the end.

I felt as though I would stay there forever locked inside a bathroom...Alone... I grabbed my phone and checked the time. 1:45. Lunch was almost over I thought, I then began scrolling through Instagram.

Soon though I found myself hopelessly scrolling on Finney's account seeing some pictures of me and him. Or Him and Bruce or Billy and Griffin and him. I smiled warmly as Finney had taken a picture with Billy, Bruce, Griffin, Vance, Gwen, And Amy.

I jumped as I heard the door open. Unaware for a second of where I was I sat up more. "Finney, Do you like Sam?"  I heard a familiar voice ring. Bruce? I thought as propped myself up more. "Um, I mean I don't know what to think. Me and Robin..."

My heart races as I hear my name called by the familiar voice of Finney.

"Okay but Sam clearly likes you." Bruce says. "I mean I don't know. Maybe he does maybe he doesn't, I just can't go around messing with both of them. Plus me and Robin just got in a fight... So I need time."

Finney says in a hushed voice. "We should probably go now." I hear Finney say as he opens the door to the bathroom. "And me and Robin are probably going to take a break which makes me have an even better reason to not rush into anything with either of them." Finney says before closing the door.

"How much of that did you hear?" Bruce's voice says as he turns on the faucet. I remain silent not sure if he meant me. "Robin? Hello? Are you dead or something?" Bruce says sliding under the door. "Didn't think so." Bruce says leaning on the opposite wall.

"Did I really screw up?" "Big time." Bruce answers. "Look you just need to know even if Finney doesn't admit this to you. He cares about you... Like a lot. And he likes you also a lot. So don't lose this Robin. Finney likes you. And I bet even though you screwed up he still likes you. But this might be your last chance to save things so please for the love of Finney don't break his heart like very single boy he has dated or liked."

With that Bruce gets up "Okay come on." Bruce says holding out his hand for me to grab. "Thank you." I say as I reach for his hand. "God why are you so heavy!" Bruce says he uses both arms to hoist me up.

I chuckle before opening the stall for Bruce. "Thanks for the talk... And Since you gave me advice here's some of mine. Look I know you are not sure of your sexuality, but I know that You have slightly caught Vance's eye. So just know that."

I say walking out of the bathroom.

( Time Skip, At the end of the school day.)

As I left the building my eyes landed on Sam who had been glancing back at me. I stared him down before he quickly looked away. I rolled my eyes going to my black truck. My mind raced with thoughts of Finney and Sam getting together. This only made my blood practically boil.
