bound to meet

i miss the old days
where i was so innocent
we used to play around
in our old town ground

they said time changed them
then we got separated
watching the rain from two cities
our distance drew the boundaries
the train that carried you, leaving the long long trees

could we live without each other's presence?
we were so dependant
what we didn't know is that our fate
was already written well

some certain people are bound to meet
just to make memories

we were not meant to be
we were just someone bound to meet
not to have that happy ending

i let you go that night
you slipped through my sight
as if you were made of silk
of what i couldn't get a grip

we were just bound to meet
a beautiful memory to carry
the lesson to just cherish all of it,
all of the things we did
and accept what we couldn't be
