I was running after our almost 1 and a half-year-old son as he was running naked and soaking wet through the house. Bath-time was always a problem.

"CHRIS!" I yelled as I ran down the hallway, Chris came out of nowhere and scooped up our son, Jack. He was laughing and trying to get out of Chris's grip. Chris walked up to my and threw the towel over our son in his father's arms.

"You deal with him now." I said, Chris and Jack laughed. He leaned down to give me a kiss and Jack pushed our faces apart.

"My mommy!" Jack yelled at Chris, and he kissed my cheek, and I smiled as I kissed him.

"Bud, I knew mommy first." Chris said and quickly kissed me as I laughed. As I walked back to the living room, I saw Bianca curled up in a chair reading and I saw Tessa playing with her barbies in her barbie dream house uncle Jeremy and Chris built themselves and it matched our house. I sighed contently and I looked at Bianca.

"How's that book coming?" I asked knowing it was for school.

"I love it." She said and I smiled.

"Good." I said as Chris came out of the back with Jack running in front of him and he wrapped himself around my legs, I looked down at him.

"I sworry I ran mommy!" Jack said and I leaned down picked him up and giving him and big kiss.

"I forgive you, but I think daddy should do bath time from now on." I said and he laughed and kissed my cheek.

"Whatever you want Rosebud." Chris said and I sat on the couch with Chris cuddling into his side as all of our kids did their own things. I just sighed knowing life was perfect. My cellphone started to ring in my pocket, and I pulled it out. I didn't know the number, but I knew the area code.

"Montana?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Hello?" I asked getting off the couch and walking to the kitchen, Chris followed.

"Yes, Misses Evans this is Travis Garner, I was your mother's attorney." He said and I just groaned.

"What could that woman possibly want from me?" I asked and looked in at Bianca knowing she was the reason I was disowned by my mother, but I didn't care at all. I got a much better family for her.

"Misses Evans I hate to be the one to inform you of this, but your mother has passed away."

I just stood there in silence. I wasn't sure what to feel I knew I didn't feel heartbreak or dread, this woman had been around in my life in 13 years. I heard the lawyer talking and I tuned him out. When I came back to him, I heard him say the next part.

"Misses Evans, you are her only living relative. You and your children are her living heirs. She stated in her will that she wished for you to come and bury her in the family plot."

I looked at Chris since I knew he was listening to it as well.

"Okay fine, I have to get things squared away at home and then I will be on my way. Should I meet you at your office?" I asked.

"Yes ma'am, let me know when you get in town." He said and I hung up. I looked at Chris.

"Rosebud...?" He asked seeing no expression on my face.

"I'll be back in a couple days." I said blankly and went to walk away.

"Hey woah wait!" Chris said following me. I walked into the bedroom and pulled out my suitcase. "Hey wait a minute." Chris said grabbing my arms and stopping me. I just looked at him.

"You heard the lawyer, I have to go bury her, plan a funeral...all of it." I said and Chris sighed and looked me in the eyes.

"Why don't I call Jeremy to come watch the kids, even see if Ma can fly in and we go together." Chris said and I shook my head.
