It's been a week since Ivy's dad passed away, she was handling it somewhat okay. Of course she hasn't come out of the house for that whole weeek...so take that as you will. Both Holland and Holly noticed this too. Holly really wanted to check up on her, but Holland refused.

"Dad come one! We haven't seen her in days!" Said Holly worried. "What if something happened to her?"

"Don't stress yourself kiddo, her dad just died" said Holland while getting ready "She must be grieving! We shouldn't bother her..."

"Ugh! Men are so insensitive!" Said Holly frustrated.

"Holly, I can assure you that she's fine!" Said Hollan while putting on his jacket.

"Okay then, why don't we check up on her? Just a quick hello and see if she's actually alive" said Holly while crossing her arms.

"What's gotten into you? Why are so worried about her?"said Holland.

"Why aren't you worried! I thought you liked her!" Said Holly back.

"Wha- like her? I barely know her" said Holland.

He was lying of course, he was pretty mesmerized by the brunette since the first time he saw her. And in fact, he was worried about her. But at the same time he understood her. He had a similar reaction when his wife died. He didn't want to see or interact with anyone. So he thought the best thing they could do for Ivy, was to give her space.

"Okay chill kid, tell you what...I have a couple of things to do around town, when I get back we pay her a small visit alright?" Said Holland.

"I guess...just don't take to long okay?" Said Holly.

"I promise sweetheart" said Holland while hugging her.

Holland walked out of the house and left Holly.

On the other side of the street Ivy was just waking up. It feels like the only thing she did nowadays was sleep. She walked towards the bathroom and saw herself in the mirror. She was a mess, dark circles around her eyes, these were puffy and red for all the crying she's been doing. An her hair, it looked like a birds nest.

I can keep going on like this she thought to her self, she decided to take a shower. And decided she was going to go buy some art supplies. Since she left everything back in New York, she definitely needed to stock up on materials and tools. She didn't have much inspiration right now, but maybe painting would make her feel better.

After she got out of the shower she quickly got dressed in something simple. A white t-shirt, a pair of flare jeans and sneakers. She grabbed her bag and the car keys and exited her house. Unknown to her, Holly was on the other side of the street thinking about going to check up on her by herself. But at the same time she didn't want to disobey her dad. She was conflicted. She walked towards the window to take a peek to Ivy's house and that's when she saw her walking out of it.

She got excited and relieved. She immediately got out of the house and started sprinting towards Ivy.

Ivy was getting ready to get in the car when she heard quick steps approaching by. She turned around and saw Holly walking/running towards her.

"Ivy! Hi!" Said Holly excited and a little out of breath.

"Woah! Hi Holly" said Ivy smiling a the girl "How are you? Can I help you with anything?"

Holly now realized how impulsive she was, she stared at Ivy for a couple of seconds before thinking her answer.

"I- well...I just wanted to check up on you" said Holly shyly "We didn't see you or hear from you in the last days" said Holly looking at her.
