Chapter 9.

What strange dresses I have to wear! thought Elsa as she and he friends were being fitted. Elsa had to try on only two dresses. A coronation dress and crown, and a long blue and white dress.

Rapunzel just had to try on one. It was down to her ankles and purple.

Merida had to try on two as well. A regular and comfortable dark turquoise dress, and a extremely tight light blue dress with a golden belt.

Jack was fitted for his olden fashioned outfit, and his modern blue hoodie and jeans. He was also given a staff of wood. 

Soon the day of the Ceremony arrived. Elsa began to feel sick in her stomach from nervousness and anxiety. Rapunzel could not keep still in her auditorium chair and Merida sat with her hands on her lap. All three of them were wearing their first outfits of their stories.

Jack wore his old fashioned jacket, Flynn his blue leather vest and jeans with boots and Hiccup, his green shirt, brown vest and brown pants with fur-rimmed boots.

Mrs.Minnie and Mr.Mickey came to the stage. "Merida Dunbroch!" they shouted in sync. Merida gulped, then slowly walked up to the stage. 

She sat down in the chair and breathed heavily. "The story, Brave!" the two headmasters shouted together. Mr. Merlyn waved his wand and smoke rised up around her, lifting her in the air. It completely surrounded her! In the smoke, she could make out the shape of bears, and three little boys, and a king and queen, and a little witch.

Soon, Merida disappeared and a screen came up one the stage wall. Everyone watched and waited.

Merida hid under the table and watched her mom walk around, looking for her. "Where are you? Come out!" her mother laughed. Merida was four. "Where are you, you little rascal! I'm coming to get you!" she peeked under the table. Merida was gone. She hid behind a stack of swords. "Where is my little birthday girl! I'm going to gobble her up when I find her!" she growled playfully. She turned around as little Merida was sneaking up on her. 

"Ohh!" shouted her mother, then she caught her and tickled her playfully, then saw her husband place his bow on the table. "Oh Fergus! No weapons on the table!" Merida jumped up and picked up the heavy bow. "Can I shoot an arrow? Can I, can I please Can I?" she fell and giggled. Fergus laughed. "Not with that." he stroked his short red beard. "Why not use your very own! Happy Birthday my wee darlin!"

Merida tried it out, missing numerous times, then one arrow accidentally flew into the trees. "I missed.." she said. "Go fetch it then!" her mother coaxed, then looked at her husband. "A bow Fergus?? She's a lady!" Fergus chuckled. 

Merida found the arrow stuck in a tree. She pulled it free and heard a twig snap. She gasped and looked around.

Then she heard a soft whisper. She turned around and saw a small blue orb. With it's little arms, it beckoned for her to follow. When she came out to touch it when she was close, it disappeared. "They are real.." she whispered. Then a path of the little orbs led her up and into the clearing where her parents waited. 

"I saw a wisp!" she said catching her breath. "I saw a wisp!" she said again. Her mother's eyes widened with excitement. "A wisp! You know", she said mysteriously, "Will-O-the-wisps lead you to your fate!" Merida smiled. Her father scoffed. "Or an arrow." Merida's mother glared. "Fergus.."
