Step Two

After a long and dreadful chat with Debbie, I rush back home-as much as this slow ass bus will go- and take my box from under my bed and set it on top of my silky sheets. Opening up the box, I grab the notebook and skim through the pages until I find what I need.

Looking at my cheesy but organized and very helpful check-off list. I look at the first sentence that says "step one: make the mamma miss my ass". Smirking down at the list whilst slightly chuckling I grab a pen and put a simple check mark in the box infront of the sentence.

Looking down a little bit more and I imagine my smirk dropping. "Step Two: purchase back stage tickets"

I quickly put away the box as if someone would find me even though I live alone. I mean when your planning a revenge you don't have much time to have anything more than a one time fuck.

I grab my phone and look at the time cursing as I see it's already two in the morning. Happy Sunday Jesus, so sorry I won't be attending church in a couple of hours.

Shrugging my shoulders and sending my mommy a quick text that I'll be unable to attend church this morning for reasons that I've made up. Okay I'll be honest, I'm skipping to sleep some. A girl needs her beauty sleep ya know?

I go to the bathroom to clean up and head straight to bed. After turning the lamp off, I doze off into great and horrid dreams.

"Laura, come out, come out where ever you are." I hear my little blonde friend whisper trying to hold in her giggles. I smile at her attempt to be creepy. I hold my breathe as she nears the closet I'm crouched in.

I hear and see her walk away so of course I whisper "that was a close one." before I know it the doer flies open and I scream causing the little girl to jump in fright.

"Ha! I've found you! I win! I win! Now it's your turn!" She jumps up and down in excitement while I pretend to pout.

"No fair Perrie! I accidentally peeped!" I fake whine only causing her to giggle again.

After playing out little game of hide and go seek, we lay in my backyard playing with each others hair.

Being eight and nine years old, neither of us could really braid not that having tiny fingers helped much.

"Pez, do you wanna be best friends forever?" I look behind me as she looks down.

"Of course! I kinda thought we already were but I really like playing with you and maybe when we're all grown up we can be mummies together." She says and I agree.

"Perrie, one more thing. Can I trust you forever and ever and ever?" My little squeaky voice questions.

"Forever and ever and ever." she agreed.

"Pinky swear?" I ask, holding out my pinky.

"Pinky swear." she replies and takes my pinky in hers for a shake. We end up giggling and talking about nothing until her mom came to pick her up.

I wake up with a smile of the memory only for it to be wiped off. I remember when that one phone call she made that made me lose all trust in her. I wipe away a stupid tear and get out of bed. I stretch and walk to the bathroom.

I look at the clock hung up by the light switch and see its past noon. Well damn, sorry God.

Quickly grabbing my phone, I head downstairs. I call my mom seeing as I have five miss calls from her. Yikes!

"Hey mummy!" I smile into the phone.

"Morning baby girl, or should I say afternoon. The service was really good, so sad you didn't make it." My mum sighs in a joking way before we both laugh.

"Sorry I had stuff to do."

"Yeah like sleeping in. You lazy ass."

"You know me so well."

"Well I have to get going because I actually have stuff to do." My mum emphasizes the "I" which makes me role my eyes. We always play around like this.

"Awe okay, I love you bunches mummy. Be safe."

"Thanks, love you bunches too. Good bye."

"Bye bye now." I speak last as we both hand up. Setting my phone down I look for my laptop.

I searching for Little Mix tickets I hear my phone ring. I role my eyes praying that it's not Carson or any of my other friends.

"If this is a call about wanting to go out tonight the answer is no. I have work in the morning." I grumpily say into the phone.

"Laura..." okay, that isn't Carson or any of my friends. Her voice does sound familiar tho.

"Uh, who's this?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows.

"It's Perrie... Perrie Edwards." she whispers. I choke on air after hearing her say that.

You have got to be fucking kidding me.
