Chapter 9

Jennas Pov

After Tuesday I was just shocked kinda? I dont know. All I know is that this is some real bullshit and somebody is definitely playing games with me. I had to get my grades up though, like for real. 

Its Wednesday and I just came back from skating with my friends and as I came into the door Y/n was already sitting in my living room. I looked her up and down and checked the time on my phone. It was already 6.30pm, I totally forgot the time. "Fuck, sorry. Forgot we had this study thing.", I said dropping my backbag in the corridor. "Its alright. Your dad let me in and gave me a coffee.", Y/n said softly, warming her hands on the cup. I looked at her innocent-self sitting on the couch and kinda felt bad for letting her wait. 

I went up to change as quickly as possible and sat myself next to Y/n. We sat quite close and I could smell her perfume. She wore the same she wears everyday for school. Its actually quite nice. She began with the stuff we couldnt finish last time and I actually tried to concentrate. I listened to her talk about all the physics stuff and tried really hard to get my brain working. I dont know how shes so damn good at every subject. I know I make fun of her for being such a nerd but in reality, I just wanted to be like her. 

I watched her explain the stuff and I studied her face. She was really close to me and for the first time I could see how beautiful her eyes are and how perfect her nose and eyebrows are. The freckles on her nose and cheeks were just a beautiful accessory to her sleek facial structure. "Hey, are you listening?", she caught me staring. "Uhm, yeah. Sorry.", I replied returning my eyes back on the book. She gave me slight smile and continued. After a while she asked me a few questions repeating the stuff we just gone through.

I actually got a few thing right and every time i'd give a right answer Y/n's legs would do a happy little jump. I held down a smile that was creeping up on my face. "Wow, you actually listened. Im proud of you.", Y/n said with a big smile, taking some notes of my progress. I felt my face get red from her comment, which was fucking ridiculous. I quickly gathered myself and said "Of course I did, stupid."

She giggled a little and checked her watch. "We have 10 more minutes, how about we get to know eachother a bit more. Maybe that will help your learn progress.", Y/n suggested. "I dont really want to get to know you, so just know that im only doing this because of my grades.", I said and made myself more comfortable, crossing my legs and facing her.

"Alrighty, so after school I really wanna study psychology and become a therapist. How bout you?", Y/n began asking. "Uhm, I dont fucking know. I think I wanna become an actress or whatever.", I answered rejecting eye contact. I saw her nod and give me a little smile. "Cool.", she replied, "so you got a dog?", she asked, pointing at a picture of Riley and me. "Yeah, he's out in the garden.", I said. "Aww, really? Can I see him?", Y/n asked excited, wiggling her legs. "Sure come on.", I said making her follow me out in the garden. 

Riley was out in his cabin, just chilling. I called him and he immediately came running towards me wiggling his tail like crazy. "Omg, hes so cute!", Y/n said and began petting him. "He seems to like you, usually hes quite shy.", I said questioning why hes so comfortable with her. "I guess we're just soulmates.", Y/n said jokingly winking at me. I admired her dimples that formed on her face from excitement. Hell nah, stop that immediately. 

We played with Riley for a while, when I brought Y/n to the door saying goodbye. She smiled at me as she went out, putting a disgusting smile on my face. I gotta stop doing this. Why the fuck would I smile at Y/N?!
