About two or three hours later I felt my phone vibrate. I looked down and it was a snapchat from Dre.
DreTheGreat : where yall at?
StonerLifeKen_ : Kassie's.
DreTheGreat : aight, bet. we on the way.
StonerLifeKen_ : bet.
DreTheGreat : you tryna smoke?
StonerLifeKen_ : you already know.
DreTheGreat : aight.
I put my phone down and walked into Kassie's room.
"Dre said he's on his way." Her and Nyssa were looking at something on Nyssa's phone.
"Look." Nyssa said tossing me her phone. She was on Zarion's Twitter. He had changed his avi to a picture of him and Inari.
"I don't care." I said tossing the phone back at her. I hopped in the bed and lay on my back staring up at the ceiling.
"Girl, Anaisha is pissing me off." Kassie said, referring to her girlfriend.
"What she do now?" Nyssa said.
"She think I still want Drake."
"Well you did leave him for her."
"And?"
"And? She probably thinks you will do her how you did him."
"I just want them both. Why can't I have them both?"
"Because, life doesn't work that way."

I was sitting in Inari's living room playing Grand Theft Auto V when she walked in looking at her phone.
"Why is this bitch in my notifications? Is she trying to be slick?"
"What are you talking about Nari?"
"Your little girlfriend."
I grabbed her phone and sure enough @StonerLifeKen_ was the only name in her notifications on Instagram. I handed her phone back and grabbed my keys. I kissed her cheek and said,
"I'll talk to you later."
"Where are you going?"
"Home, my mom and I have to rearrange the guest room." I said lying.
She poked her lip out.
"I love you ugly." she said kissing my nose.
"Love you too." I hugged her and headed out the front door. I got into my Silverado and peeled out of her drive way. I immediately dialed Kenya's number.
"Hello?" she picked up on the third ring.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Why? You dumped me." she said laughing.
"Just ughh, where are you Ken, I'm not playing."
"I'm at Kassie's. Why?"
"Be outside in 7 minutes."
"Why?"
"Just do it." I hung up and five minutes later, turned into Kassie's neighborhood. I pulled up just as she was walking out. I put my truck in park and got out. She was walking down the pathway, as I was up it.
"What are you do - "
I grabbed her by her neck and pulled her to me, silencing her with a kiss. She kissed me back immediately, but pushed me away after about 15 seconds.
"Look, I fucked up. I wanna be with you Kenya. Shit is just," I put my hand on the back of my neck, "complicated right now ma."
She folded her arms and looked down at the ground.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do with you Zarion."
"Just be patient ma, everything is gonna fall into place."
"Yeah, but when?"
I grabbed her shoulders and pulled her towards me I placed my forehead to hers and said,
"Soon baby girl, soon." I kissed her lips.

I was sitting on my bed when my homeboy Ced text me.
Ced : where ya boy at?
Me : at his house, why?
That's when he sent me a screenshot of him and Kenya on her snapchat. I closed the photo and dialed his number. No answer. I called again, this time he sent me to voice. I got on Twitter and her tweet was the first one I seen.

She then tweeted a picture of them together. She was sitting on his lap, his hands were wrapped around her waist. Almost immediately he favorited it. And as I'm looking at it, I noticed he changed his avi back to just him.

Then he tweeted.

I called him again, this time he answered.
"What's up?" he said nonchalantly.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"Chill out. It's not even like that."
"Why are you over there?"
"I came to straighten some shit out."
"So what's with all the shit on Twitter?"
"She had my phone. That's why I didn't answer."
"Where are you now?"
"Pulling up to my house. Where are you?"
"At home, I miss you." I said whining.
"Want me to come back later?"
"You can if you want."
"Okay bae, I'll be there later."
"Alright, bye."
"Bye." I hung up and dialed Ced's number.
"What's up ma?"
"Wanna come over?"
"Nah, your boy might have a problem with that."
"What boy? I'm coolin." I said with a slight chuckle. "So you coming, or what?"
"Yeah, I'll be there in a minute shorty."
"Cool. I'll see you later." I hung up. Zarion wanna fuck around? Shit, two can play that game.
