Scene: Living Room, Rodriguez Estate
Dalia walked into the living room and placed her bag on the couch. She sat down and was about to relax until she heard angry footsteps coming from her mother's workshop.
"Dalia Esther Annika Rodriguez!", her mother yelled as she stormed towards her. "Why did I have to hear from fvcking Mayor Bourgeois about your behaviour today at school?!"
"M-Mom! I-I-"
"You assaulted his bratty offspring?! Ruined her clothes in an explosion?!"
"I-I didn't mean to-", the ravenette stuttered.
"I don't want to hear it! You could have damaged my reputation and your father's as well with this!", Saxon ranted. "I had to beg André to not mention this to the public even though this is most likely already on social media!"
She slapped her daughter's face angrily, causing the ravenette to fall off the couch and bruise her arm on the rough carpet.
The girl tried her best to hold in her tears and bite back the pain she felt emotionally and physically.
Realising what she just did, Saxon, herself was shocked.
"Dalia...I'm sorry-" She tried to hug her daughter but was pushed away.
"Leave me alone! You're not sorry!", the ravenette yelled bitterly through her tears. "Every single day, you and papa remind me that I am a disgrace to you both."
She stumbled to get up and grabbed her bag.
"Dalia. Please listen to me-", her mother said but was cut off.
"I've done my best today, to not do anything that wasn't worthy of you and papa. I'm sorry for not being the perfect daughter you wanted!", Dalia cried as she ran up to her room in tears.
Saxon stood there watching her broken daughter go up to her room, as she felt guilty of the pain she caused to her daughter.

Scene: Dalia's Bedroom
Dalia locked her door and threw her bag on the bed as she knelt down on the floor.
She sobbed hard and looked up to see the book that she borrowed from the library, in front of her on the floor.
The ravenette picked up the book, Black Beauty and felt sentimental as she remembered the good times when her mother and father were good to her.
Memory of Dalia at 6 years old
"Bedtime story! Bedtime story!", Dalia exclaimed as she settled in for bed.
"Alright Dalia but first did you brush your teeth?", Saxon asked her.
"Yes I did!"
"Good. Now, what should we read tonight?", her mother replied with a smile. "And please not-"
"Black Beauty!", the little ravenette giggled.
"I should have never introduced that story to you", Saxon said playfully as she got up and took the book off the shelf.
"Yay!"
Dalia snuggled up with her teddy bear and listened carefully to the story her mother read. She slowly fell asleep and felt a kiss on her forehead before falling into a deep sleep.
End of Memory
"If only mother and father would be nice and caring like they used to", she said softly.
Memory of Dalia at 9 years old
"That's it mi hija!", Léo congratulated his daughter.
He was teaching his daughter to bake cinnamon swirl cupcakes and she was now piping them.
"I only learn from the best, papa!", Dalia said happily.
"You might even be a better baker than me", he replied as he ruffled her hair.
Then as he picked up the spatula, a piece of frosting had launched on Dalia's face.
"Papa!", the little ravenette gasped.
"Dalia, I didn't-" Then his face had frosting. "Ohhh, now it's on!"
A full blown frosting fight had begun.
Different types of frosting and toppings were splattered everywhere. Dalia was covered in white, brown frosting and sprinkles all over her face. Léo on the other hand was very colourful. He had red, blue, purple, pink and green frosting all over him like a colourful snowman.
"What is going on in here?", Saxon said as she came into the home bakery.
Then she burst into laughter at the sight of her frosting covered husband.
"Oh, so you want to laugh huh?", he said as he threw frosting at his wife.
Both he and Dalia giggled at Saxon's shocked expression.
"How dare you throw frosting at your pregnant wife?", she gasped playfully. "It's on!"
End of Memory
"I miss those times", she said with a weak smile.
"What times?", a familiar voice asked.
She looked up and saw...
"Adrien?"
"Yeah, it's me... Are you ok", he asked.
"No... I'm not...", the ravenette replied sadly.
"Tell me what's wrong...", Adrien said as he sat down next to her. "Why do you have a slap mark on your cheek?"
"It's my parents...they don't care about me only if I ruin their reputation or make them look bad", Dalia said with a sad look in her eyes. "It feels like I have nobody except James and my sister, Ada."
"Don't worry, Dalia... I'm here for you...", the model said as he cupped her cheek. "No matter what..."
He kissed her on the lips and put his forehead against hers. She closed her eyes, feeling loved.
When she opened them, he was gone and only butterflies were left in her stomach.
Dalia got up and walked towards the large window in her room. She looked up at the night sky and thought about her time with Adrien in the library earlier that day.
