The sad love story

Chapter 24

The door to my hospital room opens and Mattheo enters,

"Hello my love" He says sending me a sad smile,

"I'm sorry" I say looking away from him,

"It's not your fault" He answers sitting down on my bed,

"I-i should have stayed safe as you told me" I mumble feeling tears burn in my eyes, "Now our kid is dead"

"Y/n, it's not your fault" He says again softly taking my hand.

I feel a warm tear roll down my face and down on the blanket making a little wet spot.

A knock comes from the door before it opens, Draco enters,

"I swear to god i hate muggle hospitals" He say as he closes it again, "Are you two okay?" He asks,

"Oh yea, never been better" I answer,

"Not really the right time to be jokeing" Draco says sitting down on a chair besides the bed, "I'm so sorry for everything that have happened"

"Theres nothing to do" Mattheo says low.

I look up at Draco,

"Thank you" I whisper low thinking on if he wasn't with me when Theo died i would have died too,

"Of course" He answers, i think he knows what i'm talking about.

A small knock comes from the door, this time it's a little curly red haird girl,

"What are you doing here?" I ask Robin, she has tears running down her cheeks,

"I-i'm so sorry for you" She says running over to the bed,

"Why?" I ask her softly,

"Y-you was with them, them who killed mother" She says crying out loud, i quickly pull her into a hug,

"Who killed her?" I ask her low,

"Her enemies" She answers looking up at me with her teary green eyes,

"You know, enemies can be a good thing, it shows that you have stood up for something sometime in your life. Your mother stood up for what she belived in, and that's really good" I say

"But she died in the battle" 

"She died to protect other people" I answer. Flashbacks from the battle flies through my mind, the fires around Theo's body, all the dead bodies, helping Neville, the forest and of course dad's death.

I have no idea where i shall live now,

"You should go back to your dad" I say to Robin,

"But i wanna stay with you" She says,

"I know, but i need some rest" I explain to her, she looks at me with her sad eyes and leave the room.

"Who was that?" Draco asks looking after Robin

"To be honest i don't really know" I answer low, "But she's nice"

I look over at Mattheo seeing him cry,

"What's wrong Matty?" I ask him,

"Y-you would have been an amazing mother" He answers, i feel tears burn in my eyes,

"T-thank you" I mumble. He sit's down on the bed and takes my hand in his,

"I love you" He whispers,

"I love you too" I whisper back.
