(Y/N's POV)

I was slowly walking through a snow-covered, dark-green plain, with bodies of soldiers scattered around across the battlefield, the ground around the bodies were greasy with gore, the sky was sunless, it had a profane-black color, a thick dead forest surrounded the field, there were sounds of a man's wailing whimpering echoing across the whole field.

I ran towards the source of the scream, the ground was slippery and slimy, it was as if I was running on the intestines of a man. The smell was ungodly.

I reached the source of the wailing and whimpering, it was a soldier, it looked like an enemy, I crouched to take a closer look of the wounds; the man's left leg was missing, his lower body had the color of ashes, he was burnt. The man was still screaming.
"Dyshi brat, dyshi!" I said in Russian with a shaky voice,
(Breathe brother, breathe!)

"POMOGITE MNE... POMOGITE MNE, ETO GORI AAH IT," He shouted back while sobbing
(HELP ME... HELP ME, IT BURNS,)

"DA," I shouted while I turned back trying to taking out my water and bandages.

Before I could take my bandages out,

the sobbing stopped..

I slowly turned towards the man,

the man had passed...

All his dreams and desires are gone, his children still wondering if their father is coming back....

He suffered his way out..

I then heard fizzling across the sky, it sounded like missiles, the sound got louder and louder, until the realization that it was coming towards me,

I took a look at the man's body one more time, I touched his chest while tears started to go down my face, a jet of blood spurted out and into my face, it tasted metallic and salty, I was not disgusted however,

I then prepared my self for the missile to hit, I said my prayers, closed my eyes, and waited, the fizzling stopped suddenly,

I opened my eyes and found myself in a green valley, I was lying down on the ground now, there were beautiful pine trees on the hills nearby.

I realized there was something on my body, I looked down onto my body and there was nothing there.

I slowly opened my eyes and realized I was in a dream, although the weight on my body was still present, I looked down and saw..

Gwen.

She was peacefully sleeping on my chest,

I opened my eyes once again and realized that none of it was real; I felt liquid streaming down my eyes, I was crying. I pulled my self up and went to the bathroom, to clean my mask and face up.
