READER'S POV

"How did he do that????"

I thought of this question a couple of times during the show. Now you might say: "Sure, it's a magic show, so it's completely normal to think about that question."

But listen.

When it comes to Lyney's tricks, he clearly isn't playing around. The amount of creative ways he could bring the crowd into complete shock was actually amazing. For a hot second I thought he was going to drown his sister with a water tank, but eventually when she showed up out of nowhere, I let out a sigh of relief and clapped along with the audience.

"Thank you, thank you everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed that performance..." - Lyney spoke, now alone on the stage.

"But our magical journey only just begun. I've prepared even more astonishing surprises for everyone here."

Another one??? This sentence got me even more interested in what he has up his sleeve now.

I looked away from the stage for a second to see how Lady Furina is enjoying the performance. She clearly had the signs of excitement and curiousity on her face. Lyney's tricks clearly spiked up her interest in magic, or just magic shows in general. Maybe she put her expectations a bit low, but I should say I myself am impressed by how much he can-

"So for my next trick, I will require the particapation of one lucky audience member."

"...Excuse you???" - I thought as I looked back to the stage. I only just realized that I completely zoned out.

"Wait a minute, what if It's going to be me???" - It may not seem like it, but I was scared for dear life right there. I didn't want to mess up anything. But why would I mess anything up... Why was I so worried about showing a bad first impression to Lyney in the first place-?
"Whatever, let's put this thought on hold for now."

In the next few minutes, the magician explained his next trick which was about switching positions with the lucky audience member from a box to another using teleportation. The boxes were just enough for a single person to fit in. One was located on stage next to Lyney, while the other one was located among the audience. Lyney's assistant then brought in some kind of device which apparently could pick out a completely random seat and row number for the lucky person to be chosen. Interesting.

Lyney then used the device. After a few seconds os silence, it picked out the two random numbers.

"Row seven seat three congratulations!" - he announced as I looked back to the chosen person. It was a young lady with dirty blond hair and pigtails. When she stood up and walked to the magic box, she visibly seemed rather nervous. I mean sure, I would've been nervous as well.

Lyney then told the girl not to come out of the box before the magic happens or she could end up in the Fortress of Meropide and that seemed to make her even more nervous than before. I'm sure that Lyney was joking. Or not? Well who knows, I'm not the one on stage anyway.

The magician himself then started to walk to his own box, however he stopped before entering and asked the audience to give him a countdown from 60..? For some reason. He also mentioned not to count too fast or else he could be in a 'tough spot' while keeping up with the magic.

I heard Paimon talking from the other side about how she kinda wants to count faster now. I am not here to compliment, but she could've really kept her voice down a tiny bit...
