Kokichi's POV
My boyfriend, shuichi, is a detective. A new case was given to him a few weeks ago and to be honest I've never seen him worse.
I walk into his office and lean on the doorframe
"Shuichiii??"
He looks up at me, he has horribly bad dark circles under his eyes from not sleeping and a Cold cup of coffee next to him
"Yes?"
"I'm borreddd"
"I'm sorry kokichi.. I can't help with that right now.. this case has got me tangled up"
I do a sarcastic pout and think for a second
"Could it not be an idea to take a break from that thing?"
"Kokichi.. you know I ca-"
"Pleasseee?"
He reluctantly sighs and stands up, tucking his chair under before following me to the living room
"Well? What do you want to do?"
"Hm... movie???"
"Alright, I'll get the popcorn, you pick a movie"
I smile at him and turn on the TV, searching through Netflix for a good film.
Shuichi shortly comes back with a bowl of popcorn and places it on the table, he sits down and opens his arms so I can lie down in his arms
I mentally smile and move closer to cuddle him
And just as it should be, the movie plays in the background as I cuddle my boyfriend, he's noticeably less stressed, and it makes me feel happy.
"I love you kichi"
"I love you too"
