2. Levi Ackerman x Reader

●A titans target●

Levi was always on edge when on a mission, but nothing could have prepared him for the terror he felt when you, the person he had cared for the most, was almost taken by one of those mindless beasts. The monster had appeared out of nowhere, taking you by surprise and pulling you towards its open mouth. Levi had never moved faster in his life, his blades cutting through the titan's skin and muscle before it was able to close its jaws around you.

He had never been so relieved and so shaken in his life. He couldn't believe how close he had come to losing you. As he cradled you in his arms, blood seeping from his own injuries, he felt a surge of emotion he had never experienced before. Fear and dread, but also a fierce sense of protectiveness. He was not going to let anything happen to you.

Despite his own pain, Levi tended to your injuries with care and attention. He bathed the cuts on your face and bandaged them up, all the while reassuring you that you were safe with him. As he worked, his expression softened, revealing a different side to him. There was gentleness and warmth in his eyes, and you could almost believe that he cared about you in a way that went beyond his duty as a soldier.

As darkness fell and the night grew quieter, Levi finally managed to make a fire. He gathered wood, using his blades to cut and shape it, and then carefully sparked the kindling until it caught. He held you close as the warm flames danced, and for a while, there was nothing but peace.

After a while, Levi spoke, his voice low and almost a whisper. "I won't lose you, never again," he said, his eyes locked on yours. "I'll always protect you". That's a promise."

And as he spoke, you knew that it was a promise that he meant with all his heart.
