26. Gojo Satoru x Non jutsu Reader

●Underneath the Veil●

Soft rays of sunlight poured through the gaps between the leaves overhead, creating dapples of light and shadow on the ground. The serene ambiance of the forest was disrupted only by the sound of two figures stepping on the fallen leaves and twigs, one walking confidently while the other tried to catch up.

"Gojo," you called out, a little breathless, "can't you slow down just a bit?"

The tall, silver-haired man glanced over his shoulder, his ever-present blindfold hiding his eyes. He wore his signature dark uniform, which sharply contrasted with the vibrant greens of the forest.

"Ah, my apologies," he replied with his usual teasing tone, halting and waiting for you. "I forget not everyone has my boundless energy."

You shot him an unamused look. "I'm just a regular human, remember?"

His chuckle resonated through the trees. "How could I forget? It's one of the many things I admire about you."

Blushing, you shook your head. "You have a way with words, don't you?"

He reached out, lightly tapping your nose with his finger. "Maybe. But only when it comes to you."

As the two of you continued your trek, you noticed the way the forest seemed to glow around Gojo, as if it recognized his incredible power. Yet, despite his overwhelming strength and the reverence with which many held him, you knew a different side to him. The side that would stay up late to chat with you about anything and everything, who would tease and laugh, and most importantly, the one who'd opened his heart to you.

Suddenly, Gojo stopped again, his gaze fixated on a small clearing where sunlight bathed a tiny patch of vibrant wildflowers. "Look at that," he whispered, gently pulling you beside him.

You took in the sight, marveling at the beauty before you. As you admired the scene, you felt his fingers interlace with yours, pulling your attention back to him. He was already looking at you, blindfold still in place, but you felt as though he was gazing deep into your eyes.

"Can I show you something?" he murmured.

Before you could reply, he carefully removed his blindfold. The eyes that met yours were of the deepest blue, impossibly vast and filled with galaxies. But what captured your attention the most was the warmth and affection that radiated from them.

"You," he began, his voice almost a whisper, "are the only one I've ever shown this to. My true self. The one underneath the veil."

Feeling your heart race, you reached up, lightly brushing your fingers against his cheek. "You're beautiful," you whispered.

His lips quirked up in a smile. "So are you."

And in that moment, amidst the beauty of the forest and the wildflowers, two souls connected in a way that was deeper than words. The world seemed to stand still, just for them.
