●Warmth and Whimsy●
Winter had arrived at Kyoto University, and the campus was blanketed with a thick layer of snow. Y/N bundled herself in her warmest clothes, a fluffy scarf wrapped around her neck. However, she was regretting the decision to wear her new shoes, as they lacked the grip to deal with the icy paths.
Choso, wearing a thick jacket and his signature serious expression, spotted Y/N struggling to walk. With a mixture of amusement and concern, he walked over, offering his arm for support. "Need some help?"
Y/N, with cheeks reddened from the cold (or was it embarrassment?), gratefully took his arm. "Thanks, Choso. These shoes were a bad choice."
As they walked, Choso looked down and noticed Y/N shivering. Without saying a word, he wrapped his coat around her, leaving himself in just his sweater.
"Choso! You'll freeze!" Y/N protested.
He simply smiled, a rare, warm smile that made Y/N's heart skip a beat. "I've got a warm heart. I'll be fine."
They reached a small cafe near the campus. The warm, cozy interior was a stark contrast to the freezing world outside. Choso ordered two hot chocolates, complete with mini marshmallows.
Sitting at a window seat, they watched the snowfall. Y/N playfully made shapes on the window's condensation, drawing a heart and pointing to Choso. Choso responded by drawing a bigger heart around the one she drew and pointing back at her.
Their conversations flowed effortlessly, filled with laughter and gentle teasing. Choso recounted a hilarious incident involving his younger siblings and a snowball fight, while Y/N shared stories of her childhood winter escapades.
As they were leaving, Y/N took a handful of snow and playfully threw it at Choso. He retaliated, and soon, they were both involved in a full-blown snowball fight, laughing uncontrollably.
Exhausted and cold, they sat down on a nearby bench, their breaths visible in the frosty air. Choso took Y/N's cold hands into his, rubbing them gently to warm them up. "We're quite the pair, aren't we?" he remarked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
Y/N leaned her head on his shoulder, feeling an overwhelming warmth that had nothing to do with the temperature. "The best pair," she replied with a contented sigh.
