"Okay, next is [l/n]"

Everyone was sitting (or, in Bachira's case, sleeping) on their futons. Kuon was currently asking everyone their football strenghts, to take them into account for future strategies or something like that. You didn't pay much attention at whatever Jinpachi was saying about football weapons...

You didn't think it was a good idea, though, because, what if your teammates took advantage of that knowledge?

Maybe you were overreacting. Lately, you were being really sensible.

Maybe you weren't, and needed to take your emotions more seriously...

Who knows?

"My weapon would be my velocity." You lied. Well, it wasn't a lie, after all, your velocity wasn't bad. It wasn't your true strenght, though.

Kuon wrote that down. "Good...Chigiri?"

The red-haired guy hugged his knees and lowered his head.
"...I don't wanna say."

You side-eyed him as he hid his head.
'Oh, so I'm not the only one who thinks it's a bad idea to tell them your strenght?'

Igarashi gasped. "Huh!? Don't chicken out on us!"

"I know...sorry...But...I don't wanna say."

'Or maybe... he doesn't want to tell it for another reason? He looks uncomfortable...'

"If he doesn't want to tell us, it's alright... Let him be." You demanded calmly, before Raichi could say one of his usual offensive comments to Hyoma.

Okay, your request took them by surprise. Weren't you the one who 'offended' Chigiri last day? Why were you helping him now?

Ha, you didn't know either. Probably the guilt that you were feeling since yesterday affected your head.

Chigiri raised his head a little bit, no longer hiding his face on his arms. Now he was looking at you, confusion evident on his eyes; He probably expected you to be the first one to insult his decision.

You coughed, feeling somewhat awkward. 'Why is he looking at me like that?'

"Well, as Ego said..." Kuon continued, and you thanked him mentally for breaking the silence, "...If we want to win, we have to do as Ego told us to, by thinking about our best weapons. Basically, to win, he have to utilize them well!"

Iemon spoke up, "But if we do what we want, won't it end up the same as last game?"

Soon enough, everyone began asking questions.

"Can we really trust that Ego guy?"

"If we don't play as a one, it won't matter knowing our weapons."
